Shell Island Beach Club 6C is an island resort overlooking the sandy beach and Gulf of Mexico complete with Heated pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Tennis courts.
Direct beach access and just a short walk away from Sanibel's famous lighthouse and fishing pier on the east-end of the island.
This top-floor, two bedroom/two bath condo is a direct gulf front unit with great breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Myers Beach. You can comfortably sleep six people. Vaulted ceilings and new furniture add to the relaxing, spacious atmosphere.
The master bedroom suite has a whirlpool bathtub and separate shower; both bedrooms and the living room have TV with VCR/DVD Players. (Shell Island offers a library of video rentals). The screened-in lanai is a delightful place for breakfast or evening drinks while overlooking the water.
A fully equipped kitchen and dining room allow guests to dine in the condo with comfort and elegance,. High speed internet is also available for a minimal fee.
You are only steps to the sugar-sand beach. We are located on the historic east end near the lighthouse, restaurants and shopping. Tennis courts and bicycles are available on site at no charge. A beautiful pool and large Hot tub are literally steps from the condo.
Restaurant, grocery store and ice cream shop are located within a close walking distance.

Why the Owner Chose Shell Island Beach Club
Most Sanibel vacations seem to always lead to a lifetime of recurring vacations. My Husband and I first visited Sanibel with our 4 children over 25 years ago and returned once or twice every year since then. We did eventually purchase a home on Sanibel and now live there 7 months out of each year.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Sanibel is definitely a place to relax and enjoy the beach, sun and beauty of the island. Almost 70% of Sanibel is permanently preserved and will never be built on. The island boast some of the best biking paths anywhere where small children can bike safely. It might rain in Fort Myers but winter rains on Sanibel are quite rare. There are numerous great restaurants and a new shaded children's playground available. Shelling can become addictive so be careful.

We had a GREAT time at this condo! Just perfect for the four of us, which included two teenage children. Nicely appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture, WONDERFUL view of the Gulf, very close to the beach, nice pool/hot tub, and more. A real plus is the availability of free bikes at the complex office...take an all-day trek and picnic to the Observation Tower in the "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge (about 19 miles). Walk to breakfast at the Lighthouse Cafe; drive to lunch at Cheeburger Cheeburger and al fresco dinner at Doc Ford's. Drive up to Captiva Island and enjoy one of the public beaches there. Owner Marita Toussaint is very flexible with fast response...makes this unit an A+ VRBO value!

I stayed here for the week by myself and it was perfect for my solo vacation. There was enough room to comfortably fit four, a well stocked kitchen right down to a flashlight, an assortment of beach chairs and beach towels. The lanai has an unobstructed view of the gulf and the coastline of Ft. Myers Beach down to Naples. I watched dolphins play and feed right out in front of the complex, along with several osprey traveling back and forth over my building taking fish back to the nest. The mattress in the master was outstanding. I could hear the waves at night from my bed. The owners were responsive to my questions and very accommodating (I had no maintenance issues while I was there) and everything from booking the condo to leaving the morning of my flight home went easily and smoothly. I have stayed in many time share units, and although this property is in a time share complex (allowing the use of all the amenities), the personal touches and attention to details in this privately-owned condo made this a much nicer stay. Thank you, Don and Marita, for making my vacation so perfect!

Beautiful, not cheesy condo right on a beautiful beach! Looked exactly like the pictures and was clean and beautifully decorated. Most things we needed were provided, i.e., coffee maker, blender, towels, etc. Shell Island Beach Club is a really great complex as well- beautiful pool and hot tub. We used the complementary bikes a bunch as there are extensive biking trails on the island. The owners were a little difficult to get a hold of and were not great at responding to all of our questions in our emails before our arrival, but were very nice and responsive once we arrived. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

I'm sorry this comment is so long overdue. We stayed in your condo in June 2009. It was fantastic and that doesn't do it justice! It had everything we could possible want or need and the location was wonderful. The condo was beautifully decorated, very clean and the pictures don't do it justice! I loved the quiet community and the fantastic view of the ocean was exactly what we wanted. My two daughter's loved their room and enjoyed the TV and the twin beds. My youngest daughter and I borrowed bikes at the office (which were provided for free!)and rode down to the ice cream shop near by - it was great! The owners were wonderful and assisted me over the phone, not only with my plans in Sanibel but also gave me good advice about a stop at Disney as well. They were so great! It truely was a vacation of a lifetime! I will rent this condo again and again and hope to come back to Sanibel for a 4th trip soon! Thank you for the wonderful memories!
