Situated within 7 miles of the West entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and ~20 miles from the East entrance. One can hike 20 minutes South form the property and enter the Park boundaries. The small Town of Joshua Tree features art galleries, restaurants and fuel stations. Yucca Valley just 7 miles West has anything you might need including Wal-Mart and a variety of supermarkets. Horseback riding is available near the West Park entrance.
The property is of South Western Style. There is a patio which has a beautiful view and has a gas BBQ. The home has a very large lounge bed in the living room, a queen in the guestroom and a queen in the Master bedroom. There are two rest rooms. The kitchen, dining area and living room gently merge into one large living area.
Outside is a converted greyhound bus into a motor home which can be used as a guesthouse. It has a queen bedroom, living room, fridge, two AC/heating units and a full kitchen. It is a available for a nominal fee.

My name is Bert and I came here from Germany 25 years ago. After living in Los Angeles for 22 of those years, I decided to move to this area in 2006. I have been climbing here for 15 years and fell in love with the place and its people. They say that there is a Vortex here....I believe it. And perhaps you feel that same energy as well.
Why the Owner Chose Joshua Tree
I built this home in 2007, but my work has me going all over the place. Hence I have decided to make it a vacation rental.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The hiking is out the door, either East, West or to the South where you will be in the Park boundaries within 20-30 minutes. I look at boulders to the South, the huge expanding Valleys to the North, and the intense quiet. Talk about seeing the stars at night.
