If you're looking for that secluded get away far from the noise and stresses of the city, Klamath Cabin is the place for you. It's hard to believe this lovely and quiet cabin in the middle of the woods is just a few minutes from the village, the lake and the famous local ski resorts. This lovely Big Bear Cabin is warm and inviting, the perfect place to shed your cares, get alone with that important someone or to relax after a day of skiing, boating, fishing, or just strolling through the Village window shopping.
If you have a large party, Klamath Cabin can easily manage that for you as well. With two king sized beds plus a single size bunk bed and a double size bunk bed, the cabin easily provides plenty space for a private staff planning session, getting together with some old school friends, or for a small church retreat.
And, there's plenty to do without leaving the cabin. There's the cozy living room with a huge leather sectional and recliner surrounding the classic stone fireplace and big screen TV. There's the fully appointed kitchen with all you'll need to prepare a cup of coffee or a full family dinner. The deck out back faces the canyon where you can enjoy some hot chocolate on a brisk morning or spend some time in the six-seater spa on a warm summer evening. There's the player piano for evening enjoyment and the large breakfast nook for cards and board games. There's even a classic style pinball machine.
The cabin itself is fully appointed in a traditional rustic motif beginning with shingled siding, a roomy wooden front porch and a large rear deck. Inside, the walls are knotty pine, and there are hardwood floors in the kitchen, breakfast nook, and laundry room. The living room and bedrooms all have carpeted floors to keep your feet warm and cozy at night.
Klamath Cabin in Big Bear is only one among so few cabins which provide comfort, seclusion, quiet, and convenience. This cabin is a real find, and it's pet friendly.

Absolutely love this place...it was my birthday vacation and I had the best time of my life! Not only was the view beautiful from being covered in pure fresh snow each morning, but it was so peaceful! And I didn't need to bring anything except for food and clothes. Just spent 4 days in this cabin and after 3 other stays in various Big Bear cabins this is without a doubt the nicest one for the money we have ever rented. Very well decorated fully equiped, ( couldn't believe the amount of Kitchen equipment available) we needed to bring only our cloths and food everything else is there. Very quiet location, we will definately try and rent this cabin again next year but will be for a longer period of time.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband & I have stayed at this cabin about 6 times now. We have celebrated my birthday, had several weekend get aways and also our honeymoon. Will be returning again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our thanks to Ann and Curtis for such a great rental. We are two couples in our 60s, rented at last minute for Memorial Day. There was not one problem involved, took care of everything by phone. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed, including a gift bag of toiletry items, deck of cards, first aid kid, sewing kit, and a puzzle; but best of all 3 new toothbrushes, since two of us forgot ours (again). The Jacuzzi was terrific, the fireplace wonderful to use, cable TV and even ice in the refrigerator. We would have had room for all of our grandchildren (had we needed it) as a result of the bunk bed room. Picking up and returning the keys were no hassle. The best part is that the upper floor: which has the living room, kitchen, one bathroom, outside deck and bedroom is on the street level and the only stairs are to the two downstairs bedrooms and bath (two of us have back and knee problems). We highly recommend this rental (unless you are trying to rent it when we want to do so too). Again, thanks to Ann and Curtis for making this lst minute idea of ours such an easy process.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

our stay was very memorable and we were pleasantly surprised with the gift bag (awesome!). We absolutely loved the cabin size, bedrooms, kitchen area and the great room. Everything was exquisite. The home was immaculate. We wanted for nothing at all..the home was equipped with every supply you would have at your own home. Thank you Ann and your husband for allowing us to have such a warm, welcoming and enjoyable experience. We definitely plan to visit again! Overall experience from booking the unit to checking out was great! We recommended the unit to co-workers and friends.
