Year Purchased: 2008
I am a builder / general contractor in New Jersey. After visiting Costa Rica I fell in love with the beautiful beaches, lush rainforests and unbelievable mountain views. I decided it was a place where I would like to own a vacation home. My wife and children love it there as well. The kids say that they like it better than Disney! After many visits, I finally found the perfect place to build vacation homes and personally oversaw the building. I feel it's the perfect place to vacation or retire!

The climate is gentle with soft breezes; never have we had a hurricane. • There are lots of great outdoor sports on the rivers in lush jungle scenic surroundings. • There are so many beaches with sun-soaked shores, rising to beautiful mountains. • We pride ourselves to be a peaceful nation with political stability and year round spring-like weather in the Central Valley. • The well-mannered Costa Rican people are warm and friendly. They are proud of their country and it's beauty and they welcome tourists.
