Thank you so much for one of the best family getaway to date! This is an annual reunion my husband and I have with our children and grandchildren. We had plenty of room, the kitchen was incredible, we played games on the front lawn, rented a pontoon boat, cooked out on the grill, had a low country boil and ate on the screened in porch, had a scary movie night, played ping pong until the wee hours of the night and had several tournaments playing bean bag toss and board games. Our children come from several different states so the easy access to the Interstate and airport was perfect. The children would like to return next year and start all over again! Thank you!

What a great weekend. We all had a awesome stay this past weekend. The "swinging queen" was a big hit with the wives. Master bedroom/bath are beautiful. Every part of the house was just gorgeous. Bill was a great help with any questions. Golfers-Cateechee Country Club is a can't miss round. As soon as we left everyone wanted to know when we were coming back. You know when you have 5 couples very happy with their stay that you have done something right. Hope to be back next year. The Harbin Family

This home was perfect for our large family! There is plenty of space for adults and children. Every room is beautiful and comfortable. The pictures do not do this home justice. The dock, cove, ping-pong table, pool table, and movie room provided for days of fun. We hated to leave!! We are looking forward to our next stay. Thank you for sharing your home.

This house truly is amazing! In addition to being a beautiful home, it is spotless. The Warnell's have been wonderful to work with and provide so many extra comforts that it made our stay simply perfect. We couldn't have asked for more from the house, the docks, or the lake. We are definitely hoping to visit again soon.

Incredible home and stay on Lake Hartwell

This house is absolutely incredible, and it leaves nothing to be desired. The Warnells are such nice people, and make the renting experience very simple and easy. The house is immaculate, well kept, and it has a tremendous location on Lake Hartwell. It sets back on a quiet cove with a nice covered dock. In addition it is also just around the corner for a great area to ski. The amenities at the home are second to none, and the pictures do not do the house justice. It accommodated 14 of us with ease, and it was a great deal of fun between the pool table, ping pong table, and the entertainment room. The front yard has a great set up with a covered porch and very neat chiminea/outdoor fireplace not to mention the multi layer deck on the back facing the water. The kitchen is great and made food preparation easy and enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next trip back, and we would recommend the house without hesitation.

This home is by far the most spectacular place we have ever rented! You won't be disappointed!The kitchen was huge, and the great room was unbelieveable with the huge fireplace, 50" flat screen, and a beautiful screen porch with a queen bed out there! The theatre room downstairs was fabulous with the 100" screen and comfy chairs. The pool table and ping pong table were put to good use as well. The hot tub was so relaxing and just a short walk to the covered dock. Absolutely perfect!

Everything about this home is first-class and amazing! There is more than enough room for a large family. We spent our family reunion of 14+ over a long weekend and there was a little of something for everyone. The huge, gormet kitchen for family meals, a theater room to gather and watch a movie, pool table, ping pong for your game players, a screened in porch with a sleeping bed (!), great dock, outdoor shower, hot tub, easy access to the marina, I can't say enough about this wonderful home. The pictures do not do it justice. We felt right at home from the first moment we walked in the door. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay or more helpful owners to work with. We're already planning our return trip next year. It's the best!!!

Incredible place

The house is even better than advertised. We had a great visit and the house was more than we expected. Bill made sure that we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions before we arrived. He was very accomadating to our schedule. The hot tub, pool table and ping pong were the families favorite features. We also watched a movie every night in the theater room. Everything is set up and ready to go for the renter with instructions for the theater and equipment. The dock and lake are awesome as well. Really nice dock with power. It's around the bend in a secluded cove so there is not much traffic at all. My kids are teenagers but it would've been great for younger kids as well. Highly recommend the property and hope to get back there soon.

We just spent a week at this property. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The home is beautiful with every imaginable luxury included. Even though it is early in the season, we easily found activities to enjoy at the house and surrounding area. We all agreed that it was the best family vacation we can remember. As most have commented, the pictures don't do the house justice. It has so much room and every amenity has comfort in mind. We hope to return soon to enjoy the home and Lake Hartwell again. Get ready to be amazed. This house is by far one of the nicest rentals I have ever stayed at. My jaw hit the floor when we walked in. It has everything you need for a perfect family or group get together. We really enjoyed every thing about this place. The owner is honest, accomodating and pleasant to work with. We are already looking to book our next stay.

I'd recommend the Warnell's home to friends and family alike. It is guaranteed to satisfy. My family and I stayed there for 2 nights over New Year's. We brought two other families as well. We were 6 adults and 6 kids in total. And we fit with literally a room to spare. The quality of the home and furnishings is high and the amenities (great gathering spaces, theater room, hot tub, dock, ping pong table, pool table) are enough to keep adults and kids happy, very happy. We look forward to coming back in spring or summer when we can really use the lake. Maybe consider using a wide- angle lens to re-shoot some of the home photos. They really don't capture the size of the home.

This place is unbelievable! The pictures do not do it justice. I have stayed here twice this past year - once with the wife and kids; the other time with a group of golfing buddies. I can't believe no one has mentioned the great golf courses within a 15 minute drive. What fun! Can't wait to return! AAA+++

We enjoyed our time on the lake and without question, this was the nicest vacation rental we have ever visited. Even though Lake Hartwell is a busy lake, our location in the cove was extremely quiet and private. The pictures don't come close to describing how magnificent and well furnised this home is. It is truly a vacation paradise and we are already planning on a return trip.

We were looking for a large house with a big kitchen and plenty of space to gather and we sure picked a winner! My husband and I, and 4 other couples, spent a few days at this lovely home and had a wonderful time. We even had bad weather but couldn't have cared less. We snuggled up on the porch, in the media room and in the hugh family room, played games and had a ball! Cooking in the kitchen is dream. The house is spacious, beautifully appointed and decorated and SO comfortable. I can't wait to return and take advantage of some of those amazing outdoor opportunities. This house is a find!

Our family just received some bad news regarding my father in-law. He always wanted to go fishing and spend time with the family. I looked and looked and finally found this lovely house on this site with a quiet and private cove. When we first pulled up, my father in-law said "is this a hotel?" It just gets better when you walk around the house and through it. We ended up renting a boat. But it was not necessary when you can fish straight from the dock and swim in the cove. What ever the previous posters said are all true. My stay was on Oct. 9-11th. BTW, my father in-law caught the very 1st fish and the biggest! :-)

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home on Lake Hartwell. The pictures do not begin to do this home justice. It is simply beautiful!! The master bathroom alone is worth the trip. We were able to float in the private cove on the lake in absolute peace. The owners were so nice and easy to work with. With the pool table, media room, gourmet kitchen, ping pong table, and huge hot tub...there was something for everyone. It was the perfect getaway! Overall, we could not begin to ask for a nicer experience.

This house is incredible. It's perfect for a small private getaway or a large gathering with family and friends. The cove is quiet for swimming and floating. The water is so clear you can see your feet! The open lake is just minutes away, boat and jet ski rentals very close to the cove. The safety features of this house allow you piece of mind with little ones. Teenagers and young adults will have plenty to do with the pool and ping pong tables and in home theatre. The owners made us feel very welcome in their home and have everything you need for a great stay. My family and friends are already planning our next trip to this incredible piece of paradise.

My family of 6 plus my friend's family of 5 stayed here the first week of August 2009. The Warnell's have a fantastic place here on Lake Hartwell. One of the main things I look for in a summer rental is good water. The water here was nice and deep, warm, and great to swim in. One of the girls who doesn't usually swim that much when we go away, couldn't stay out of it. The water is great for floating in, or jumping in, and there is no boat traffic due to it being near the end of the cove. The dock is only a few steps down from the house, off of the terrace deck. The pictures don't do justice to either of the decks, the terrace or the screened porch. The terrace deck has nice patio charis, tables and loungers. Plus the hot tub and outside shower. The screened in porch has a nice table in it off the kitchen where some of us ate dinner's and breakfast. The house, is perfect. 5 nice bedrooms, 4 with bathrooms. Lots of room, the bunkroom is great for kids. Now our kids aren't all kids anymore with ages 8,16,20,20,21,21,22. They all had a great time whether playing ping pong or pool or watching movies on the home theater. Lots of room to spread out. Lots of quite areas if you need space. The kitchen has great appliances and lots of work space. The ice maker is a god send. Everything you could need is there. Everybody wants to go again! The photos don't do the great room justice. If you want a nice place on Lake Hartwell, you won't go wrong here.

If you are looking for a great place to relax / play in style, this is the place for you. The photos don't show how nice this place really is. The upper level is a great place to spend time visiting with friends. The kitchen is huge and well supplied. The lower level is filled with plenty for the family to do during a rainy day and in the evening. We really enjoyed swimming in the quite cove and was great having open water close by so we could ski and tube just a short ride from the house. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. We hope to be back soon.

My family renting this house the weekend of the fourth. The house was amazing. Between the pool table, theater room, and ping pong table, the whole family had plenty to do! The owners were very cooperative and accommodating. The cove was very quiet and was great for laying out on floats. If I ever needed to rent another home on Lake Hartwell it would definitely be this one. We had a blast!
