This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, newly renovated, fully furnished, clean & comfortable (ground floor) home is located in the gated-beach community of Villa Palmira in Punta Santiago, a suburb of the city of Humacao, in the southeast region of Puerto Rico. Home includes Keyless Pad Entry, EXTERIOR Video Cameras for safety, WIFI, Cable, A/C, washer/dryer, full kitchen, outdoor covered patio with large table & chairs, and loungers. Perfect home to enjoy morning coffee, a meal, games and a glass of wine while you relax and bask in the sun. Location offers easy access to main roads/highways, attractions, shopping, restaurants, and more. Top floor home (2 bedrooms/2 baths) is a private home with separate entrance and may be available, if additional space is needed.

Family Fun Getaway!

Thank you to Edie for guiding us through a safe and secure transaction! The house is very nice, clean and comfortable. The private pool and tropical landscaping is beautiful! The property is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach where there is also a nature reserve with hiking trails that was very neat to explore. We are a family of 5 (with 3 teenagers) and had plenty of room. We also felt very safe in this gated community. Edie's parents were so helpful and taught us a lot about the Puerto Rican culture. They even taught us how to easily cut a fresh coconut! Such a wonderful experience and we will be back!!

Wonderful place to relax and have fun

I stayed with five other adults, and everyone was extremely happy with this property. The beach was very close, and almost private. The backyard was private and relaxing. We watched lizards and hummingbirds go about their business in the backyard. Our group made a few trips to Fajardo, which was not too far of a drive. The property is very close to the Nature Preserve, which is beautiful. Several of us got in some exercise, and went for runs around the Nature Preserve. There are plenty of signs, so we didn't get lost. We also went kayaking at the Nature Preserve, which was a lot of fun. The kayak tour goes into a quiet lagoon with beautiful views of mountains. The Nature Preserve was also a great place for bird watching and iguana spotting. There were a few local restaurants nearby that we walked to. There were ample places to get groceries. We also utilized the grill on the back patio, and enjoyed our dinner out near the pool. The kitchen had all the things you'd need to make dinner and/or drinks (e.g., we put that blender to good use). The bedrooms were very comfortable. Everyone in my group was very happy that we rented such a great place. Thank you, Edie.

Great beach house

Our family of five enjoyed our stay at this beach house, a two-minute walk to the semi-private beach. The accommodations were exactly as described. The house has everything one could want, and we especially enjoyed the private backyard pool. The area is not touristy at all, which I enjoyed. The owner is wonderful to work with and quick to respond to any question. It was a great experience.

PERFECT! PICTURES DONT DO IT JUSTICE! MUST SEE!

Let me start with saying thank you Edie. This place is nothing short of amazing! To the people reading, dont overpay somewhere else! Me and seven of my closest friends stayed here for nine nights, all of us in our mid to late twenties. From the day we first booked this house, Edie was so prompt and professional, not to mention very pleasant. She went out of her way to accommodate us, going as far to carry out a request to stock the fridge with a detailed list of items that we had requested (thanks again)! This place is fit for a king (and queen) and with a fridge stocked with food and exotic fruit, we really felt like it! We didnt really make plans for things we was going to do while in Puerto Rico, only references and (alot of them), after all it is vaccation, no need for a schedule! There is no shortage of amazing things to do and see in Puerto Rico. Through our nine night stay we all decided that the house and surrounding area (private beach, private swimming pool, and three small restaurants only a short walk from the house ( the one closest to driveway gate the best by far, with a cook that belongs in a five star restaurant! Example GUAVA BBQ RIBS) were so amazing we would spend a whole day around the house. Thats a big statement for eight adventurous people! The food all over Puerto Rico is amazing seriously. My favorite the previously mentioned and Don Frappe. Both are elite restaurants. There is a local grocery store where we bought other food for cooking at the house. The house had all cooking amenities included the nicest gas bbq grill I have ever seen! Washer and dryer made it so we could pack lighter and stay fresh:) Bedrooms and beds were very clean and comfortable. Two bathrooms were perfectly clean, comfortable, and functional. The pool, exotic yard, and beach will leave you speechless. The gated community (not a resort) and the sureal location of this place, make it a true vaccation retreat. Paco is a snorkeling guide with a beautiful boat with canopy who lives right in the the gated community too. I highly recommend him, he is a amazing man who loves his island and nature, and people who feel the same as him about it. Puerto Rico is unbelievable, but I highly recommend taking a small plane (fleminco airlines) to Culebra. This place is a hidden gem with a true island feel! Once there look up Captain Sebastian he can take you to the second best beach in the world (tortega beach on culibrita)!! For a day on a amazing island by yourself! 5star

We had a wonderful stay!

The beach home was very comfortable and fit our needs very well. There were 2 couples with 2 young children travelling in our group. We enjoyed the private pool vs. having to deal with a crowded hotel pool, as well as the vicinity to many beautiful beaches and other fun activities. The house is located in a local community and the neighbors were so friendly and helped us with directions while we were exploring this gorgeous island. You will definitely need a car to get around, but there is a beach, a nature reserve with kayaking and some bars and restaurants with great local food within walking distance. We had an awesome time!!
