The island location is far from the mosquitoes pestering homes located in the maritime forest, allowing you to enjoy morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck as you revel in the unobstructed ocean view and the ducks, turtles, egrets, heron, and kingfishers in the lagoon below

Adjacent to the Bald Head Island Club and the BHI children's playground, Villa 44 is only one mile from the ferry landing and harbor. Situated directly across from Beach Access #13, this villa sleeps eight comfortably and ten with two twin air mattresses (provided).
There are two master bedrooms, both with king size beds and in-room access to full baths. The upstairs loft bedroom has two queen beds (as opposed to the more common twin beds used by other villas) and a half-bath. Non-smoking and non-pet makes the home perfect for families with allergies.
** Please do not inquire about bringing pets - my nephew has a anaphylactic allergy to dogs, and we CANNOT have them in the house **

About Bald Head Island:

The Bald Head Island Club ~
Traditional country club amenities in grand southern style include heated pool with slide, complimentary pool towels, poolside & upper deck dining/drink service at the Tiki Bar, clubhouse fine dining, clubhouse lounge/bar with HD TV, fitness facility with ocean views, Pro shop, George Cobb-designed 18-hole championship golf course (awarded four stars by Golf Digest), four hard tennis courts, and croquet greenswards
The Shoals Club ~
Members-only East Beach access with chair service, heated pool with lifeguard and organized pool games, separate large toddler pool with graduated entry, poolside dining and drink service at the Sandbar Grill, separate men’s and women’s locker rooms equipped with bathrooms/showers/dressing areas, complimentary pool towels, fitness room, spacious decks with rocking chairs and a gazebo where you can indulge in an outdoor massage. Private parking on the club grounds means members never have to hunt for cart space.
Both Clubs offer wonderful children's activities ("parent night out" programs, day camps, craft activities, teen nights) and special poolside buffets. The BHI Club offers tennis, golf, and croquet instruction for both children and adults.

OPTION 2: Shoals Club Only – add $115 per week, $20 per day (minimum 2 days).
