THE place to stay in Beaufort!
THE place to stay in Beaufort!

We just completed a pleasant, but wet, week in Beaufort lodged at this clean, quiet, safe, well-maintained, well-located cottage. It's perfect lodging for two people. The best part of this rental are the helpful owners, Steve and Dana. They want guests to enjoy their stay and will do whatever they can to insure guests are pleased. Rentals like these often often ask for contracts, security deposits, management fees and other administrative requirements. Not so with this rental; call the owners, agree on the rental and it's done. A trusting handshake seals the deal the way business used to be done. We'd return in a minute.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The place was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and convenient to town. The owners were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to go. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to fishing with Captain Steve!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I were down for a short business/pleasure trip. This place was perfectly located and the bed slept great. My wife was able to walk downtown while I worked and it was conveniently located to the boat landings we used in the afternoons. We found plenty of great restaurants nearby and Steve was a great host as well. The fall is a great time to visit the low country!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay. Captain Steve was very helpful and even gave us some really yummy treats making us feel very welcome. If you are a chocolate lover definitely go to the Chocolate Tree!! Climbed the lighthouse and rode bikes at Huntington Island which was really nice. If you want somewhere quiet, clean and affordable this is definitely the place to stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I brought my 2 daughters to see their sister graduate from the Marine Corp. The accommodations were excellent. It was such an easy drive to Parris Island and close to downtown Beaufort. The hospitality was wonderful. Really made you feel like you were still at home. Enjoyed playing with Cooper (the neighbor's lab puppy :) ) The place fit 4 girls easily. Just made us smile when we came in. Steve was great - he answered every text message I sent him. :) I would rent this from Steve and his wonderful wife in an instant! Will definitely try coming again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

I felt very safe exploring on my own and driving to the connecting islands was quick and easy. I had a great time fishing with Steve. He new all the locations for seeing the local wildlife and catchin It g great fish. I recommend a fishing charter with Steve to anyone who stays at the guesthouse. It is worth every penny! I will be back the next chance that I get.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Cozy cottage that we squeezed 5 into (brought an air mattress). Clean, Well Maintained. Very close to Parris Island. Got a great deal by Captain Steve....while I went onto the base to find my recent Marine graduate, he took the rest of the family fishing for the day. They had a BALL! Good amenities, Wifi, cable tv, grill, micro, small dorm fridge, coffee maker, adorable puppy next door to greet us every day. Close to shopping, restaraunts, package store, downtown Beaufort. Very close to the boat dock, nestled on a gorgous southern side street with trees covered in Spanish Moss. Beautiful area, great place to stay!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
