We enjoyed this cozy guesthouse during a week long stay in Beaufort to find a house. Steve was really helpful. Great location. Minutes from waterfront/downtown, grocery, laundromat, etc. Great find!

My husband and I stayed at Capt. Steve's guest house last August for our daughters graduation from Parris Island. I am very particular about where I stay, and we actually had a hotel booked for our stay but some of the comments about the hotel cleaniness made me feel anxious. I happened to find the website VRBO and started looking. I saw the pictures of Capt Steve's place and felt right at home already. He was very good to work with and he had a lot of suggestions about where to visit when we got there. The price was excellent which helped a lot since we were flying in from Utah. Well worth is to stay here. Beaufort is a charming area and we look forward to visiting the area again. We will be using VRBO to stay in San Diego when our son graduates from the Marine Corps also.

This cottage was wonderful! Very very clean, lovely, quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to Parris Island for graduation which was why we came. We would have loved to stay longer. I am so happy we found this instead of staying in a motel. Only suggestion would be perhaps a coffee table for eating take-out and larger trash can:) You do have to go up the stairs, so it wouldn't be good for disabled people.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Steve's guest house. It is nicely decorated, comfortable and very convienient to the beach and downtown Beaufort. It has much more to offer than a hotel and we felt very at home during our stay.

I stayed here with my teenage nephews while we had a weekend to visit Hunting Island state park and go to the Blue Angels air show at the Marine Corps Air Station on Parris Island. The apartment is super clean, light and comfy with all that we could need. The location is great, just across the bridge from downtown Beaufort, with local dining and shopping a few blocks away. The setting is in a quiet neighborhood, so you don't have to worry about someone in the next room making noise or anyone playing loud music in the parking lot (a definite plus!) It was part of a great weekend, fitting in well with good memories :)

Great place to stay. This is close to beautiful downtown Beaufort. It was very cozy, clean and I loved the way they had it decorated. The owners make you feel very welcome and were very friendly. I would highly recommend this guest house much better then a hotel. If we ever come back ths is where we will stay.

Fishing with Capt. Steve was a pleasure. He was very knowledgeable of all the many fishing spots in the area. We caught lots of nice fish and had a very good dinner with the days catch. The guest house was very well kept and clean. I would highly recomende this fishing experience.
