Welcome! We'd like to tell you a little about our cabin. It's hand-crafted log construction, and it has a private bathroom, one queen-size bed, table and chairs, a hide-a-bed couch, and two twin mattresses in the loft. The mini-kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, small refrigerator, and is stocked with plates, utensils and drinking glasses to complete the homelike atmosphere. We provide a continental breakfast daily. Our cabin is in a wooded area surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Views of mountains and glaciers are yours to enjoy from the cozy deck. Residents and visitors alike also enjoy the nearby stream and hiking trails.
Your hosts, are six generation Alaskans (Yes, with a little Yupik Eskimo!)Tom and Jaime Atherton and their five children, are happy to share their Alaskan experiences with guests and make suggestions for local activities and attractions. We will gladly refer you to locally owned and operated businesses to ensure you receive a truly Alaskan experience. We hope you enjoy your stay in Seward, Alaska!

My wife and I spent seven days in the cabin and enjoyed every minute. The hosts are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The cabin is well appointed and satisfied our needs completely. Highly recommended.

This is a nice, private cabin with all of the basic amenities necessary for a restful stay. It is close to Seward for shopping and other activities such as hiking to Exit Glacier. The scenery is gorgeous and the hosts are very nice and accommodating.
