When Water-Front ISN'T close enough!! Enjoy your unique floating condo DIRECTLY on the water. This BRAND NEW houseboat (delivered June 2009) boasts many amenities and positives above and beyond a standard hotel or vacation rental room. It is 42' long, 12' wide and very spacious, light, bright and comfy. With a front covered deck, back deck and lay-out deck on top there is space for everyone. Please note that this is a stationary rental as our insurance company will not allow renters to operate the boat.
It's location on Beautiful Kentucky Lake at Paris Landing State Park simply CANNOT be beat. This location and accommodation is perfect for not only summer, warm weather boating fun but also for fishermen as well as Duck hunters in the winter months. Paris Landing is home to many fishing tournaments throughout the year including the Triton, BassMasters, ESPN etc... Imagine only trailering and docking your boat ONCE during your vacation. Please NOTE: so many people have asked if they can motor the boat somewhere. Insurance will not allow renters to operate/navigate the boat.
No more pulling it out of the water each day. Just tie your boat up along side your floating condo and next morning step out, step in your boat and off you go. Fishing tournament entrants will love being prepared for an early morning quick and easy get away. No getting up early and waiting in long lines to launch their boat. This cottage is docked in a 70' slip with enough room for your fishing boat, ski boat, sea-doo, kayak or other water toys.
One unique feature when renting with us is you DO NOT need to pack or worry with a lot of stuff. When you arrive at your floating condo/cottage/lodge you will be pleasantly surprised and happy to find that EVERYTHING will be in place for you. Each rental will include all top of the line, high thread count linens, comfortable tempur-pedic Queen size bed, bath towels, beach/pool towels, bathroom amenities, paper products, more.
The kitchen will be stocked with spices, oils and all necessary items if you choose to prepare meals in your lodge. With a few days advance notice we can stock the pantry, fridge and cooler with your favorite beverages and food choices. Email me for a shopping and price list. Basically, you pack your clothes and toothbrush. EVERYTHING else will be provided.
Paris Landing State Park is an 841 acre park located on the western shore of the Tennessee River, which is dammed to form Kentucky Lake (160,000 acres). The park sits on the widest part of the lake (3 miles wide) and is the perfect location for all water sports such as fishing, boating, swimming, and skiing. On land, there is plenty of activity with golfing, hiking, camping, or just relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty and wildlife. Be on the lookout for deer, turkey, fox, and coyote that roam the park. Eagles can be seen in the winter months.
There's a lot to do and see at Paris Landing State Park! Enjoy a picnic at one of the picnic areas overlooking Kentucky Lake, or reserve a picnic pavilion for your family reunion or company picnic. Hit the links at our Par 72, 18-hole golf course, or play softball, basketball or tennis at our various sports areas (equipment not provided).
Into hiking? The park's self-guided trail system is 3 miles long and consists of two trails. Over 100 miles of trail are also available nearby at Land Between The Lakes. Have a valid TN fishing license? We have fishing at its finest on the beautiful Kentucky Lake/TN River. Up for a swim? There is a public swimming area and beach on Kentucky Lake and an Olympic-sized swimming pool at the park inn.
Seasonal activities/programs are also offered. The annual "Summer in the Park" concert series is every Saturday night from May to July, and an Interpretive Raptor Program is offered on Friday night in the hotel lobby (April-Oct.) with an opportunity to view different birds of prey

We love Kentucky Lake, Paris Landing and the surrounding marinas. After living in FL for 10 yrs. we decided a floating condo was the way to enjoy the lake while in TN. The Paris Landing area boasts many fun marinas within a quick boat ride away with live music, good food and lots of fun friends. Our favorite area marinas are: The Breaker's, Eagle's Nest, Fat Daddy's, Buchanan's Resort, and Leatherwood Pirate's Cove.
