  My husband and I just spent the past week in this condo celebrating my 50th birthday. It was the best vacation we have taken in a long time and can't wait to return. The view from the lanai was fantastic and the condo was actually much larger then the pictures show. We took Sandy's advice and had breakfast and dinner on the lanai daily. Sandy and Ray have out done theirselves in furnishing the condo. The grounds were in top shape. The gardener even cut me fresh flowers one morning! It is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We found the location ideal for exploring the island. We had a hard time adjusting to the time difference so did not spend alot of time sleeping but this did not seem to bother the neighbors below us or beside us. We could have packed alot less if I had thought to ask more questions. There are beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, coffee pot, and even extra towels for the shower! I would highly recommend this unit!!

  PARADISE FOUND!! WOW! We had an absolutely magical stay at Lae Nani! Everything about it far exceeded even the lovely description of it all! The view from the condo is exceptional! Instead of looking out at a straight coastline like at most places, the view here is of a curving bay that stretches way off in the distance to the right, with mountains and lush green space that make it just incredibly unique! There is a beautiful stretch of lovely beach right there to enjoy, frequently with a monk seal to marvel at, as well! You can enjoy the view from the kitchen and living room, and I could even prop up in the king sized bed to read and rest, and STILL see the ocean! Being able to hear the ocean was just so wonderful, and we all marvelled at how incredibly private this condo felt! Noone can see in at all since you're up on the third floor, and Lae Nani is so peaceful and quiet, that it feels like such an incredible retreat! The grounds are immaculately and beautifully maintained, and it seems very family oriented... but also perfect for that romantic get-away for two! There is also a lush open space of grass before the beach that is perfect for running and playing! The unit itself is so comfy and cozy, and has everything you could possibly need! The location is also just wonderful! There are many beautiful places to visit and enjoy that are close by, such as canoeing and hiking to Secret Falls! Long leisurely days just relaxing at Lae Nani are just perfect, too! You can stroll and explore up the coast, boogie board, or snorkel right there just steps from your condo! There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, as well as grocery stores or anything at all you might need. We stayed for 11 idyllic days, and feel like our unit had to be the VERY BEST ONE in the whole of Lae Nani! The unbelievable view, the incredible feeling of privacy, the orientation allowing sweeping views of the coastline and lush green mountains off in the distance made our stay there a one that we will always treasure and feel so grateful for! We are already hoping to be able to return again before too long, and would recommend this exceptional location to one and all! The owners are wonderful to interact wtih in every way, and their thoughtfulness and attention to detail couldn't be better! This until at Lae Nani is a real gem... a hidden oasis of beauty!

  This is truly a beautiful place. The grounds are immaculate with a nice beach. We loved the condo. It was exceptionally clean with a gorgeous view. Sandy (the owner) is wonderful to work with. We ended up spending more time at the condo than originally planned because we enjoyed it so much!!!

  This property was the best we had come across on Kauai. The fact that it has its own private beach just steps from all the units made it very desirable. As well, the grounds are meticulously manicured, every unit has a view of the water/beach, the lawns for playing on are vast, the water is agreeable for any age of child or adult. Unfortunately the pool heater was not working while we were there and the water was very cold. But the ocean water is a wonderful temperature for all but the youngest guests. Our particular unit is perhaps the best in the resort for views. It is well appointed with new hardwood and very clean although slightly dated. The king size bed is terrific. Despite no air conditioning, we managed to stay comfortably cool with the help of the ceiling fans. Grocery shopping (Safeway and Foodland) are about 6 blocks away, and within walking distance if necessary. However food prices are exceedingly high. We recommend WalMart and Costco about 20 minutes away by car southwest of the resort and worth the drive. Our favourite beach (other than our own) was Barking Sands at the end of the road on the west shore. For peace of mind, I would recommend to our owners, Sandy and Ray, that they replace the defunct in-room safe with a new one. One of our daughters also had an unusable safe in their condo. These people (Sandy and Ray) were very easy to work with and accommodating during the rental process. Thanks Sandy and Ray, we will not have any qualms about referring others to your unit and look forward to the time when we can once again visit beautiful Kauai!

  We had a wonderful stay at the Lae Nani #533. The condo is bright & airy and has a fabulous view of the ocean. It was pleasantly furnished and was stocked with absolutely everything you would want on a vacation. The kitchen was great and worked well for us to cook meals for our 1 year old. I was initially skeptical that there was no A/C, but like another reviewer says we just don't need it. Leaving the patio door open was enough to have the most comfortable setting ever with the added plus of listening to the constant sound of the waves. Thank you Sandy for sharing this Condo and for making the whole process super smooth. The only little negative was the floors being super thin. We had to walk super lightly so as to not bother the people staying downstairs.

  It was a very special place for us to celebrate our Anniversary. Our 2 week vacation went much too fast. The condo was spotless, with very pleasing decorations. The owners, Sandy & Ray, have the condo well stocked with everything one would want. Also, they are very helpful getting you ready for your stay, and the condo cleaner/agent was helpful with some questions after we were there. The ocean and landscaping view, really is fantastic. If we came back to Kauai, I would be afraid to rent some were else, because, I most likely would be disappointed.

  We spent five nights here and enjoyed every minute...the condo was more spacious than the photos portray and the view in person was second to none. Shops for everything very close by and the town of Kapaa is quaint. We absolutely loved the north shore but agreed that Princeville was too manicured for our tastes and Lae Nani was much more relaxed as well as beautiful...after seeing our other condo choices around Kapaa, we felt we had picked the best condo complex by far! Thanks to Sandy and Ray for sharing with us...we hope to return some day!!

  My husband and I just got back from 5 nights in this condo at Lae Nani, and could not have been more impressed. The oceanfront view was indeed THE BEST, and the condo itself was wonderfully comfortable and well appointed. We loved how accessible the condo was to both the North and South shores, and that we had a full kitchen to enjoy breakfast before venturing off each day. The grounds of the property also surpassed our expectations. We went to several other "premium" resorts for dinner and found Lae Nani to be so much more lush and tropical. There were also many walk-able restaurants near the condo - our faves were Tutu's and Passion Cafe for brunch/lunch, and Kintaro for dinner. We definitely would love to stay here again on future trips to Kauai. Thank you Sandy and Ray!

  My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas/New Years. It has the best location at Lae Nani. We had stayed at another condo at Lae Nani 2 years ago, but this place was by far much nicer. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with, and with the help of their their housekeeping folks, we were able to have a late check out which was most helpful with an evening flight. The condo was clean, well equipped, very comfortable bed and tremendous views. We saw whales almost every day right out front. The grounds of the Lae Nani are kept impeccably and the swimming pool is wonderful. We are hesitant to recommend it only because we want to return and want it available :<). We will be back!!
