My husband and I just got back from 5 nights in this condo at Lae Nani, and could not have been more impressed. The oceanfront view was indeed THE BEST, and the condo itself was wonderfully comfortable and well appointed. We loved how accessible the condo was to both the North and South shores, and that we had a full kitchen to enjoy breakfast before venturing off each day. The grounds of the property also surpassed our expectations. We went to several other "premium" resorts for dinner and found Lae Nani to be so much more lush and tropical. There were also many walk-able restaurants near the condo - our faves were Tutu's and Passion Cafe for brunch/lunch, and Kintaro for dinner. We definitely would love to stay here again on future trips to Kauai. Thank you Sandy and Ray!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas/New Years. It has the best location at Lae Nani. We had stayed at another condo at Lae Nani 2 years ago, but this place was by far much nicer. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with, and with the help of their their housekeeping folks, we were able to have a late check out which was most helpful with an evening flight. The condo was clean, well equipped, very comfortable bed and tremendous views. We saw whales almost every day right out front. The grounds of the Lae Nani are kept impeccably and the swimming pool is wonderful. We are hesitant to recommend it only because we want to return and want it available :<). We will be back!!

What a beautiful experience we had at the Gale Lae Nani condo. It is appointed with friendly tropical decor and a warm family feeling. The Gales have so many personal touches that you feel as if you've been invited to stay at their home. It was almost like they were there with us to make sure we had a great time. Enjoying wine on the lanai in the evening was a special time of day for us. We laughed and talked about the days events and what was to come the next day. We will return to this condo as often as possible.

My wife and I stayed for a week at this wonderful condo for our honeymoon and can't imagine anyplace could be better. The view is spectacular from the lanai! The central location on the island makes it ideal for getting to all sides of the island easily..but staying in such a beautiful place makes it hard to want to do anything but relax on the lanai. A rare endangered Monk Seal even took a nap on the beach right in front of our condo! Very clean and unbelievably well priced for such a gem. We already want to go back! This is a very nice full oceanfront condo. The condo was very clean, the king bed was really comfortable, the pictures are accurate. Sitting on the lanai I watch a whale jumping out of the water as I drank my morning coffee one day. There's a nice path infront of all the condos along this stretch that you can walk. Across the bridge is Lydgate Beach which is great for a long stroll along the white sandy beach and also they have a sheltered pond for beginner snorkellers. Municipal golf course just down the road. Restaurants, groceries all very close. The owners were very pleasant to deal with and provided very detailed instructions on how to get to the condo, info on the condo, etc.

We had the most fantastic week EVER, at the Lae Nani Condo on Kaui, Hawaii. First of all, the VIEW is the BEST we have ever had. We have stayed at many hotels on many islands, and the view from the Lae Nani balcony is absolutely breathtaking!! The condo itself, is very clean, and beautifully decorated, and has everything that you could ever need ~~~ "just add food" from their local grocery store, and you'd never have to leave. However, there are, also, lots of wonderful restaurants close-by, and the Coconut Marketplace, with their unique shops, is just around the corner. And, for recreation, they have a beautiful pool (which, also, overlooks the ocean), and tennis courts, and a wonderful walking path that meanders along the ocean for miles. You can, also, go on the many day trips, our favorite being an amazing helicopter ride over the island, including the beautiful secluded Napali Coast. In our opinion, Kaui is the BEST of all of the Hawaiian Islands, because it is exactly what we "envisioned" Hawaii to be, with all of it's lush green scenery, and beautiful beaches, etc. There is always something to do there, but the best is just staying, and relaxing on their lani, while listening to the wonderful sounds of the waves, and feeling the warm tropical breezes, while looking out over the beautiful ocean!! We would definitely say that this is, by far, our FAVORITE PLACE that we have ever stayed !! Can't wait to go back!!

We stayed at this beautiful location on our honeymoon and loved it!! If you like being able to hear the sound of the ocean from your deck--this is the place to be. Periodically, the beach is visited by an elephant seal & is within easy view. This property is positioned mid-way on the East side of the island and makes for easy access heading North or South for day excursions. Very comfortable abode!!

Comment Text: We loved this place!! We think it's located on the most desirable part of the greatest island of Hawaii. Lots of spectacular hiking at the north end of the island, only a few minutes drive from the condo, with good bodysurfing beaches on the way. Fun restaurants within 5 minutes walk. But of course, nothing beat the quiet times sitting on the deck overlooking the water, and retiring for the night to the entrancing sounds of the waves nearby. The owners have made this a very welcoming home, and we hope to return soon. Terry and Vicki, Oroville

This is a great condo. We spent a week there and it was like being at home. The kitchen has ample storage and has everything you need to create the Hawaiian mood - there is even a banana plant growing right outside the front door. The decor is beautiful, the patio overlooking the water is so peaceful and comfortful. We would definitely recommend staying there and look forward to returning.

The most difficult thing about staying at this condo is having to leave. This is a magical place with spectacular views in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It is centrally located on the island and the condo itself is well furnished and has many resources (books, CDs, DVDs). I actually swam with a turtle while snorkelling in the beach just yards from the condo. I would highly recommend staying here and hope I get the chance to stay here again soon.

This Lae Nani condo has the most amazing views right from the lanai! I loved sitting on the lanai, listening to the ocean waves. This condo is very relaxing, extremely comfortable...it's like a home away from home! Very clean, nice decor, & all the amenities in the kitchen that you can think of! Plus, there are many great books, CDs, and DVDs to choose from. Great shopping and restaurants only a few steps away at the Coconut Marketplace! It is also centrally located on the island to tour both the north shore and the west side of the island. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family, plus I can't wait to vacation here again!! My husband and I have very fond memories of this unit!

We have stayed in a handful of places in Hawaii on three different islands, and this condo remains our favorite. You can't beat the view and the peacefulness, and everything about the condo is in excellent condition & cleanliness. And Kauai is such a fab island. Whenever I think "it's time to go back to Hawaii," this is where I first think of going!

I have had the pleasure of staying in this condo on two occasions. The location is amazing. You get to sleep listening to the ocean and eat with full panoramic views. The condo is really super clean and beautifully decorated. One night we went down the common area and BBQ'd. Just beautiful and really a great place to chill out.

Wonderful! The condo and grounds are amazing. We especially enjoyed all the reference books on Kauai and the "magical" closet full of all the goodies we needed but didn't bring with us.
