For those who just can't seem to "get away", or "unplug", wireless internet is provided.
With the many generous indoor amenities and lake activities, this retreat is ideally suited for a family reunion or a romantic get-a-way! On the terrace level, guests can enjoy a large recreation room with pool table, Foosball and arcade Donkey Kong!
Wander outside to find that just a few steps away your private boat dock awaits! Nestled in your private cove, you won't have to deal with the waves produced by boaters. This makes the cove a splendid spot for the kids to take a swim or just lay on a raft!
You can also try your hand at some of the great fishing Lake Lanier offers! Didn't bring a boat? No need to worry. There at the dock is your own canoe to use freely! Yes, the paddles are included!
When guests are ready to retire for the evening after a full day of activity, there are beds for everyone! This retreat sleeps 6 people comfortably.
For a change, why not visit the nearby historic towns of Helen (a replica of a Bavarian village) or Dahlonega (a quaint little town where you can go panning for gold or to the underground mine tours!) If shopping is in your plan, the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall (with over 100 stores) is close by or you can enjoy restaurants and all the conveniences of town, just 10 minutes away in Gainesville. For the adventurous, nearby Dawsonville Forest provides biking, hiking and horseback riding on wooded mountain trails.

Why the Owner Chose Chestatee
This newly remodeled Lake Lanier home is the perfect spot for your vacation. Located on a beautiful cove, this waterfront property has a tremendous view of the lake and an enormous single slip dock overlooking the 1996 Olympic's rowing venue. The dock is floating with a depth of 12 feet of water (we are at full pool). The property is gently sloping for an easy walk to the water. Being a "grass to water lot", this gives children a large backyard to play in complete with horseshoe pits.
There are 3 large bedrooms (1 queen 1 double & 2 twins) 3 bathrooms with tub/showers and 1 half bathroom. This house has plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. The main living room has a wall of windows overlooking the stunning water view, beautiful hardwood floors, a massive stone fireplace, and wall mounted TV w/Blu-Ray player.
We're located on the lake's desirable north side in Gainesville, Georgia, just minutes from downtown Gainesville's shopping and restaurants.
Wonderful fun for all ages. It's only about a 30 minute boat or car ride! Also, there is a great golf course there! You can call them for boat rentals. Rent one and park it at your dock to use wheneve
This is only about 10 min from the house. They have all the top line factory outlets!

Hello, we're Jim & Tina Shores. We purchased this beautiful lake home a couple of years ago with thoughts of fixing it up and selling it. (Well so much for that!) We have come to enjoy it so much, as have our relatives, that we decided to let others enjoy it as well. This home is in BRAND NEW condition throughout! No expense was spared in the remodeling process of the house. Among the many upgrades are granite counters, hardwood floors, new carpet, and fresh paint inside and out!
I am certain that you will have a very pleasant stay and find it to be very comfortable with fantastic views of Lake Lanier. Please feel free to bring your toys because there is a launch only three miles away. You can park your boat at your private single slip dock, grill those steaks out on the deck, grab a cool drink, maybe pitch some horseshoes and just unwind.
