Location: We are nestled on the water's edge, west facing on picturesque Henderson Bay. Downtown Gig Harbor is only 2 ½ miles away, 10 minutes from Tacoma and 40 minutes from Seattle.
Atmosphere: Our Bed and Breakfast is a very quiet private place. Our nautical theme blends perfectly with waterfront living. The peacefulness and tranquility consumes you and you will enjoy spectacular sunsets!
Nature and sea-life abound year round. You may experience any or all of the following on a daily basis: Eagles flying and fishing in front of you, fish jumping, Blue Herons fishing at the water's edge, seals slapping tails playfully, Loons singing to each other, and hundreds of native ducks and sea fowl at migration time.
Rooms: Penthouse Suite with spectacular 180 degree ocean views from the kitchen, living room, dining room. Waterfall pond outside in the courtyard off of the bedroom. The suite has a brand new 42" flat panel TV and satellite channels, high speed wireless internet, a full kitchen complete with full-sized refrigerator freezer, oven/stove, microwave, dishes and linens. The suite also has a Bosch washer and dryer - All appliances are brand new! The Suite is detached from the main house giving you the feel of your very own luxurious & private beach house. It has its own entrance, and a queen bed with luxurious linens.
Mariner Suite is a full master bedroom and full master bathroom with hardwood floors and french doors and ocean view. Brand new queen bed with memory foam topper and 600 thread count linens. new 32" TV with satellite channels. The Mariner has it's own entrance as well and is closest to the balcony seating area above the courtyard, waterfall garden.

- All suites have their own private entrance. All suites have their own full bathrooms, tub and shower etc. The Penthouse is completely separate from the main house. The add-on suite/Mariner has it's own entrance across from the penthouse. The Mariner is a full Master bedroom with full master bathroom and water view and french doors that open above the courtyard area and balcony and sitting area above the courtyard. Wireless internet for all suites. Brand new (2008) YMCA 1 mile away.
- Suitability
- Pet Friendly: The Mariner suite only will accommodate a smaller pet with discussion/approval with the owner first! There are hardwood floors in the mariner suite.
- No Pets Allowed: Currently we are not allowing pets in the penthouse suite.
- Kid Friendly: Children are welcome. Older children 10 & above are welcome to stay in the Mariner with adults in the penthouse suite. Children younger than 9 can stay with the adults in the penthouse, for an extra charge - pls inquire.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters
- Smoking Not Allowed: NO smoking allowed in either room. We may allow smoking outside 15' from any entrance with prior approval.

Mariner: Is a second Master Suite (Is a master bedroom, with it's own master bathroom, brand new 32" flat panel TV and satellite channels) across the transom stairs area with water view (125.00 per night - discounts available when renting both suites). It is just a few steps from the Penthouse suite and would be perfect for older children or 1-2 adults - it's beautiful and has a shared outdoor seating area above the courtyard garden and ponds. All Guests welcome on the main deck as well! The upstairs outdoor seating area is wonderful in the morning or also we go there in winter when it rains, it's completely covered, warm fireplace outside you can even use WIFI sitting in the loveseat and coffee table listening to the pond/waterfall. Satellite channels just installed and WIFI.

Why the Owner Chose Gig Harbor
location location location :) We are less than 5 minutes from downtown...so close to everything yet it is so quiet out here you can hear a pin drop. You can hear the ocean at night or in the morning if you open the window or door and it is just an amazing place. The feeling is very remote but the actuality is it right by downtown. Shops, stores, fine restaurants and taverns are just a hop skip and a jump away. NO noise except the ocean wildlife.
The Unique Benefits at this Penthouse Suite
Our bay is so clean you can see all the way to the bottom and watch schools of fish on occasion. When fingerlings (fish) are released into the bay - for a period of about 2 weeks there are schools of large fish, osprey, bald eagles (5-6), seals and yes seagulls, diving and fishing - it is quite an experience. We took a movie of it and will put it on our website soon. During spring - in the early morning...fish are jumping out the water catching insects on the bay, oysters and clams.
