Location: We are nestled on the water's edge, west facing on picturesque Henderson Bay. Downtown Gig Harbor is only 2 ½ miles away, 10 minutes from Tacoma and 40 minutes from Seattle.
Atmosphere: Our GetaWay is a very quiet private place. Our nautical theme blends perfectly with waterfront living. The peacefulness and tranquility consumes you and you will enjoy spectacular sunsets!
Nature and sea-life abound year round. You may experience any or all of the following on a daily basis: Eagles flying and fishing in front of you, fish jumping, Blue Herons fishing at the water's edge, seals slapping tails playfully, Loons singing to each other, and hundreds of native ducks and sea fowl at migration time.
All suites have wireless internet. Sheets are ironed!
Rooms: Penthouse-Honeymoon Suite: Spectacular 180 degree ocean views from the kitchen, living room, dining room. Waterfall pond outside in the courtyard off of the bedroom. The suite has a brand new 42" flat panel TV and satellite channels, a full kitchen complete with full-sized refrigerator freezer, oven/stove, microwave, dishes and linens. The suite also has a Bosch washer and dryer - All appliances are brand new! Suite has a full bathroom. The Suite is detached from the main house giving you the feel of your very own luxurious & private beach house. It has its own entrance, and a queen bed with luxurious linens and electric fireplace in the bedroom - this unit is set up for extended stay accommodation.
Mariner Suite: A master bedroom and full master bathroom with hardwood floors and french doors and ocean large window view. Brand new queen bed with memory foam topper and 600 thread count linens. New 32" flatpanel TV with satellite channels. The Mariner has it's own dual frenchdoor entrance as well and is closest to the balcony seating area above the courtyard, waterfall garden. Can be combined with the penthouse at a reduced rate.

Why the Owner Chose Gig Harbor
location location location :) We are less than 5 minutes from downtown...so close to everything yet it is so quiet out here you can hear a pin drop. You can hear the ocean at night or in the morning if you open the window or door and it is just an amazing place. The feeling is very remote but the actuality is it right by downtown. Shops, stores, fine restaurants and taverns are just a hop skip and a jump away. NO noise except the ocean wildlife.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Kayaks - no charge for guests staying in our suites. Our bay is so clean you can see all the way to the bottom and watch schools of fish on occasion. When fingerlings (fish) are released into the bay - for a period of about 2 weeks there are schools of large fish, osprey, bald eagles (5-6), seals and yes seagulls, diving and fishing - it is quite an experience. We took a movie of it and will put it on our website soon. During spring - in the early morning...fish are jumping out the water catching insects on the bay, oysters and clams.

Kay and Rick, We're long overdue in thanking you for your fine hospitality during our stay at Gig Harbor Beach Bay. Simply said, it was Great! From our very first inquiry into staying there and right up until our vacation time was over the whole experience couldn't have been better. You are friendly, gracious hosts and the setting there is beautiful. Your accommodations, the separate Marine suite and the Penthouse were perfect for us. For our friend, Kim, from nearby Medina, it was an easy 3-day getaway close to home. For us, escaping the heat of Southern California, it was a week of memorable vacation fun and exploring all that is picturesque and quaint in Gig Harbor. We had a great time at the Gig Harbor Beach Bay Bed & Breakfast. Rick and Kay truly went out of their way to make sure we all had an enjoyable time. The penthouse suite was spotless and very tastefully decorated. Walking down to the beachfront was very relaxing and lounging on the deck/patio in the evening to enjoy the beautiful sunset was great. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to get away and enjoy a weekend away. Thanks again - everything was great!
