My condo is a safe, comfortable, clean haven. My family refers to it as my personal "spa". I have completely remodeled it with stainless appliances, new white/glass cabinetry, electric fireplace, granite countertops, travertine tiled spa-like bathroom. My bed is extremely comfortable and the bedroom opens into the lanai as does the living room.
I have state of art Wi-Fi, cable 47 inch LCD/HD wall mounted TV and DVD, 36 inch bedroom tv/dvr .
The sunset in the ocean can be viewed without leaving my home, but a much better view is steps away from my back door. It is located above the Redondo Beach Pier with all its activities and restaurants. Kayak rentals, bike rentals, pedal boats and whale watching or fishing/sailing boats abound.
I never have to take my car to shop, eat out, or go to a gym. It's all right here.
This is a security building sitting on acres of lush landscaping and running streams, all of which are behind locked gates.
Although we are minutes away from the Los Angeles freeway system, it seems like worlds away. The air is fresh off the ocean and we rarely need air conditioning or heating. The temperature is very moderate this close to water.
The bike path is just outside my front door and I can ride all the way to Santa Monica (20 mi) mostly on the beach/strand through Hermosa, Manhattan, El Segundo, Marina del Rey and Venice.

The condo is comfortable & conveniently located. We used the bikes on The Strand, which is steps from the condo. The security at the condo is great and Linda's directions were very well written and helpful. We did many day trips to National Parks & Museums. Hope to return next year. Thanks Linda!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Great little condo in a fantastic location. The location really is key as it close to everything you could want-even if you don't have a car. Buses are right out the door and fairly efficient. The grounds and pool are lovely and lush. The owner has everything well stocked and promptly replied to my emails during my stay. I was here for quite awhile and got to know the area well and would definitely stay here again. It's my favorite part of South Bay. thanks Linda for an enjoyable work/vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I am retired after raising four successful children in Los Angeles while working in the family business and real estate. Once retired, I moved to Maui and remodeled an oceanfront condo in Kihei which I also rent out for vacationers. My children are beginning to multiply (3 grandchildren this year) and I am in high demand for my babysitting abilities, therefore I am seldom in either of my properties and offer them to others who appreciate the life style that I enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Redondo Beach:
This condo was a gift from my great aunt who passed away in 2005. We found it together in 1972, when she was looking for a place to retire. She also loved it very much and had a happy long retirement in Redondo Beach.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I love being able to leave my car in the parking structure and going for days without having to use it. I walk on the beach to the Village, where I shop at Trader Joes and take the bus home with my bags. Whenever I feel the urge to exercise, I am just steps from one of the greatest vacation spots in the world. Our sandy beaches run for miles and miles, interrupted only by a few piers, Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan Beach.
