Quiet and peaceful is the best description for this comfortable and homey cottage situated on Togus Pond. Approximately 900 sq. ft. of living space with about 900 sq. ft. of garage below. Garage use for a vehicle not intended. For winter vacationing it is a great rental because the cottage is heated year round, it is near the ITS trails for snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, snow shoeing, and so much more.
Fishing variety consists of perch, bass, and brown trout. A 3-lb. trout was caught over the June 6th, 2009 weekend! Very low boat traffic in the summer. Lake access by association only. Shallow, sandy beach. Mooring and dock accessible. Wildlife consists of loons, deer, wild turkey and more. Private one-acre lot with plenty of waterfront. Fire pit set-up lakeside. Plenty of fire wood on site. Cannot guarantee firewood supply or propane gas for the cook-out grill. This cottage has all the conveniences needed in the kitchen and completely furnished. Approx. 400+ sq. ft.of deck overlooks the water. No washer and dryer.

Why the Owner Chose Augusta
Augusta is our state's capital with so much to offer and soooo much to do. Togus Pond is a private area with little boat traffic. It is rich with beauty and fishing in both the summer months and ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter. It is quiet and peaceful and so nice to share this space with the loons and other wildlife. The sandy beach by the dock is great for swimming.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
It is private down in back of the cottage by the water. The neighbors on the road are the best. Everyone is considerate of one another and helpful when need be. Very low boat traffic makes it a great place for quiet with great fishing!

I am a native Mainer and very proud to live in this great state. My husband, Scott, and I love to fish which is why Togus Pond is so special. It is rich with brown trout and bass. We love our oceans, lakes and streams here in Maine very much and have a deep, profound respect for it and its beauty. I am an administrator by trade and Scott is a great carpenter.
