Beautiful, light and bright home located in the gated Kiwanda Shore community. Just a 3 minute walk to deeded beach access where surfing, beach strolls and evening camp fires await you.
Very open floor plan with big windows that face west and welcome the evening sun. Two decks for lounging, one faces the hills the other hosts the BBQ.
Surround sound stereo, couches, loungers, and all of the amenities of home, including a Jacuzzi tub, washer/dryer, 3 TV’s and DVDs, family movies and a fully tooled kitchen.
Garage turned to playroom complete with ping pong, video and board games. Bikes, boogie boards, kites . . . you know . . . lots of beach stuff!
Very short 3-minute walk to wide open beach. 10-minute beach walk to some of the best beer in Oregon at the Pelican Pub or the Cape Kiwanda dunes.
Bike trails throughout! Pacific City is known for it's excellent surfing, fishing, whale watching, hiking/beach walks and award winning Pelican Brewery.
Many awesome mountain trails for hiking or running are within 30 minutes.
This has been our second home for 6 years so is very livable. In fact, you may not want to leave! Did I mention the deer come to our door for apples and pears.
Pacific City is an easy 1:45 hour drive from Portland. It remains a quiet unspoiled beach town for those looking for a special get-a-way or just a great fun, safe place to take the family.

Welcome to Pacific City. We are a very short walk to the beach. Walking distance to Pelican Brewery and Cape Kiwanda.
Bob Straub State Park is a 484-acre park in Pacific City. Beach access, trails, picknicking, marine and wildlife viewing.
Cape Kiwanda is part of the Three Capes Scenic Route ( along with Cape Meares and Cape Lookout). Awesome wildlife viewing, extremely scenic view from atop the large dune,tide pools, hand gliders take off from the massive sand dune that begs to be climbed.
Home of the 50lb. Chinook Salmon. Several shops rent out kayaks and boats to take advantage of the great fishing and sightings of not Bald Eagles and many other water fowl.
Home of 5 award winning brews and a very popular spot to grab some awesome burgers, pizza and fish and chips and more.
Home of some serious good food. They are also a bakery that sells delicious bread to go and fabulous cookies and pastries.

Our family built this 1600 sq. ft. Chalet style home in 2002. Having rented for years, we custom designed a very open, light and airy home that stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. With one of Oregon's best surfing beaches just a 3 minute walk away and ample hiking, fishing, boating and biking surrounding this gated community, we have grown to love our family time spent at the beach. Upon entering our home, you can feel your pulse slow as you quickly transition to "vacation time." We are pleased to share our stress reducing home with you in this sleepy little beach town.

One of the highlights of our summer is to go to the Open and Bright Beach Home!!!! It is a perfect get-away for my husband and I, and our three kids. It is such a comfortable and relaxing home! We love that we can walk to the beach.....Pacific City is the greatest! Love the dunes, watching the dory boats and surfers, exploring the tide pools, body-boarding, campfires and eating at the Brewery and pizza restaraunt!!! We want to make it an annual summer vacation family time!!!!!
Recommended for:Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Stayed with 5 girls at the beach house and had a FABULOUS time. The house had everything we needed and was only a short walk from everything in town. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Our family of 5 (3 young children) had a blast. This house has everything you need to enjoy the great beach town of Pacific City. The side and upper decks were really great places to relax and the open floor plan is great. We will be coming back.

Open and Bight Beach Home was clean, beautiful and so relaxing!! The house was a home, with everything you might need for your stay. Easy walk to the beach with good sandy beaches to enjoy. We even walked to the brewery from the house, not a far walk at all!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.
