Our property is located at the north end of Seaside - right on the beach. We have an unobstructed view of the coastline from Tillamook Head Lighthouse to Cape Disappointment on the southwest tip of Washington State.
One can sit in any room of our house (with the exception of the utility room) and enjoy a serene peaceful setting, beautiful sunsets and the tides changing as time passes by (too quickly). To add to your privacy, our house has one-way glass viewing, making it easy for you to look out but hard for others to see in.
By stepping out our door, you can walk on the sand or the promenade for a short 20 minutes and be in downtown Seaside where you can enjoy car shows, conventions, arcades, museums, dining or shopping. There is something for everyone. With less that a five minute walk directly in front of our house, you can experience clam digging on some of the North Coasts best razor clam beds.
Over the years many of our guests have made our home their annual vacation destination. Staying at our place has become a family tradition for many of our guests. Some guests have returned for as many as 15 years saying there is no other place that they would even consider staying.

Why the Owner Chose Seaside
We built our home ourselves on one of the few vacant ocean front lots available in Seaside. The location is excellent and less than 2 hours from our home.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Serene peaceful settings, sunsets, clam digging, crabbing, storm watching, whale watching, kites, kite surfing, surfing, fishing, hiking, golfing, shell collecting, walking on the beach and shopping.
Owner's Map of Seaside
We built this house ourselves (with the help of a friend) in 1987 for our family enjoyment. We have spent almost every 4th of July here with our family since 1987 and hope to be spending many more. Our Grandson was born on July 4th 1997 which makes the holiday extra special for us. We plan to retire here and enjoy beach activities for the rest of our lives.

What a wonderful home for a family gathering. This lovely, clean and well appointed property was right on the beach and was ideal for three generations to gather for a week over Christmas. The huge windows on two floors give unsurpassed views to the beach, coast and out to sea so every day there is much to watch especially on stormy days - we had two big ones! The only possible drawback is for light sleepers in the master bedroom. It is open to the great room below so subject to light and noise from there. However, the view lying in bed is worth it! The owners were very helpful and easy to deal with. We would certainly recommend this property to others and would not hesitate to rent it again ourselves.

If you pass up this home for a weekend getaway or week's vacation, you are missing the boat. This home is spacious, tastefully decorated, provides all the kitchen amenities you need, sits on the oceanfront, has wonderful views to the north and south, and is just a short walk from the waves. Watch the storms roll in with the warmth of a wood stove and stroll the beach during the sunbreaks to see what the tides have left on the beach. If you are a walker, you can easily walk to downtown Seaside, to the theater, and to the outlet mall. We are grateful the owners are so willing to share this wonderful home with others. Carla C.

We rented this wonderful beach home last October and loved it. The views from the front living room were amazing. The living room area was very spacious with lots of sitting room. There were 10 of us and we never felt cramped. The home was clean and provided all the amenities we needed for a comfortable three-night stay. The wood stove was nice to take the evening chill away. We walked the beach to town and back with no problem. We also thoroughly enjoyed the digital wind gauge. We want to thank the owners for sharing their lovely beach home with us. We'd like to go back, perhaps this summer.
