This luxury home is in the heart of Kona. The heart of town with tourist shops and restaurants is a 15 minute walk away. Although close to town, the home is very private, secured by a beautiful 6 foot lava rock wall. There is a 2 car garage. This is the only pool and Jacuzzi on the island that sit partially in the ocean, surrounded by the ocean on three sides. This spectacular home has over 2000 square feet of interior space and upper and lower ocean front lanais.
Enjoy perfect sunsets from the lanai. Wake up to a view of the ocean from all of the upstairs bedrooms. There is a balcony off each bedroom.
Whale watching from the lanai and pool is especially entertaining. The famous Iron Man Triathlon takes place in Kona every October. The turn around for the swim segment is in front of our pool. The running segment goes right past this Alii Drive home.
You can fish from the pool deck or rocks in front of the house. Swimming and snorkeling are also possible in front of the pool for competent swimmers.
There is a small sandy beach 2 minute walk or larger beach 5 minute drive away. Golfing is 10 minutes away.

I love the small town atmosphere of Kona. There are no freeways or high-rise buildings. The Big Island is the most diverse. The slow pace and simple life of the Big Island has the feel of the Old Hawaii.

My home is on the ocean. The pool and Jacuzzi actually sit partially in the ocean. I have a perfect view of the sunset and cruise ships. Whale watching is fantastic. My home is very private but a 15 minute walk to the center of town with shops and restaurants. I can snorkel and swim in front of my house.
