Our co-op studio at Ocean Vista Resort is located on one of the most beautiful, unspoiled, and un-crowded beaches of the Hamptons. If you're looking for a serene, restful beach experience, with access to a variety of cultural, sporting, and commercial activities, you will not find a better value. The resort is within walking distance of several well-known restaurants and hiking trails, and the Hampton Jitney stops right across the street. The co-op offers free beach chairs, umbrellas, an indoor heated pool, tennis, a barbeque area nestled in the dunes, and maid service.
The studio, which sleeps four, comes complete with a kitchenette, cable TV, telephone, full bath, air conditioning and maid service.
The resort offers a special events room that is perfect for groups, off-site business meetings, family reunions, and weddings (especially as a backup for a planned beach wedding in inclement weather). Our events coordinator can steer you to great sources for catering, group transportation, special activities, etc.

Why the Owner Chose Amagansett
Location, location, location. We bought the beach! The icing on the cake is a charming, quiet, friendly, and relaxed resort, where we can truly chill out. Stay on the beach until dusk, throw some great fresh fish on the barbeque and then watch the sun set over Napeague Harbor. Or if we're in the mood, go gallery hopping and then visit one of the many world-class restaurants nearby.
The Unique Benefits at this Co-Op, Studio
The art scene in the Hamptons is always inspiring and full of surprises, from the numerous art galleries in East Hampton (20 minutes away) to Ashwagh Hall in the Springs (about 20 minutes away), where local artists often display their work. The extraordinary Walking Dunes (yes, they really do move) is only a 15-minute walk from Ocean Vista, on the way to Napeague Harbor. It was the location for Rudolf Valentino's famed movie "The Sheik." So who needs to go to Arabia? The East Hampton Trail Preservation Society leads hikes every week on some of the most beautiful trails in the area. Love to visit farm stands? Or wineries? We've got them all over the Hamptons, within 25 minutes drive from Ocean Vista. If you like to board surf, or just watch, Ditch Plains in nearby Montauk is a hot destination for surfers of all levels. Cyclists from all over New York State and New Jersey are drawn to the charm of the area, not to mention the flat roads of Montauk Highway that lead to the picturesque Montauk Lighthouse, at the very eastern tip of Long Island. We welcome our cyclists guests at Ocean Vista. East Hamptons International Film Festival in October has become a popular draw, and our off-season rental rates are the best in town.
