Our marvelous 3,608 square feet, 3 BR mountainside home has been impeccably remodeled and expanded with tasteful high-end finishes that create exquisitely comfortable living spaces on three levels. Beautifully nestled into a forested hillside in Snow King Estates, we have the best of both worlds: we are "in town", with the town square and most of Jackson Hole's shopping, restaurants and entertainment just two minutes away, but also have the national forest with hiking, biking and cross country/back country skiing right outside the back door. The Hagen Trail is just a few yards from the back door offering miles of hiking, biking and skiing trails, and Cache Creek and the National Elk Refuge trails are less than five minutes away. Teton Village is only 15 minutes away. We have amazing views of the Tetons, the Elk Refuge and east Jackson from expansive windows throughout the home and from our spacious elevated decks that offer wonderful outdoor sitting and entertainment areas among the trees.
The entry level features a grand foyer with cathedral ceilings and a staircase that ascends to the 2nd level; a cozy, fully-wired media room-den with a wet-bar, a king bedroom and bath, and a three car heated garage with lots of storage and a dog/gear shower.
The centerpiece of our home is the stunning 2nd floor living and entertainment level which features expansive Teton views and an inviting open floor plan perfect for family living or entertaining. A carpeted living room with a gas fireplace opens to a beautiful dining area and a dark stained curved bar with ebony granite countertops, wine cooler, separate dishwasher for bar glasses, and custom cabinets. Vaulted ceilings, hickory floors and expansive windows create a sense of warmth and space to the dining area and kitchen.
The spacious kitchen is a dream…wonderfully designed with top end stainless appliances, lots of granite counters and custom cabinets for food prep and storage, at-counter seating, grand windows, a large walk-in pantry with a full sized Euro-Cave wine cellar and access to the expansive deck and hot tub that overlooks the Tetons and the National Elk Refuge. A cozy sitting and office area by a gas fireplace is adjacent to the kitchen.
Just around the corner are a twin guest bedroom and bath; and a sizable laundry room with a utility sink and built-in cabinets and cubbies.
The upper master level features a lovely, soothing master king bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a cozy sitting area around the gas fireplace, large windows and private balcony offering wonderful Teton views, a luxurious master bathroom with a large tub, walk-in steam shower, tile floors, and large walk-in closet. Additionally, the master suite includes a separate fully equipped fitness room with stepper machine, Bowflex, yoga mat, exercise ball, dumbbells and LCD TV. The fitness room also works well as a fourth bedroom with the included Aerobed. We bought our home in Jackson Hole to enjoy the incredible natural beauty of the Tetons, the amazing surrounding National Parks and National Forests, and the wide variety of skiing, hiking, rafting, biking, golf, tennis, snowshoeing, and all the wonderful restaurants and activities that this incredible community has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is very close (2 minutes) to the center of town, yet the National Forest is right out our back door, and wildlife wander through the neighborhood year-round! We have incredible views of the Grand Teton and the National Elk Refuge.
