This beautifully maintained country house enjoys direct views over the world famous Pont du Gard. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Roman aqueduct was built in the first century BC to channel huge amounts of water to the Roman settlement at nearby Nimes.
La Bastide Sainte Anne is immaculately presented with each room in the house maintaining the traditional French character you would expect to find in the Languedoc region. Red floor tiles, exposed beams, forged ironwork and wooden shutters compliment the beautiful furnishings of this wonderful house. The six luxurious bedrooms sleep up to 12 people in style and comfort and the living areas have quality furnishings, open fireplaces and English SKY television.
No expense has been spared in providing a superb level of accommodation including wireless internet access, a library, separate dining room, modern kitchen, outside terraces and of course the indoor heated swimming pool which leads onto the beautifully maintained gardens.
The house is situated on 2½ acres of typical lavender scented gardens with olive trees and truffle oaks enjoying spectacular views of the Pont du Gard and the Alpilles mountain range.

Location
La Bastide Sainte Anne is located on the outskirts of the Renaissance village of Castillon du Gard in the beautiful Languedoc-Rousillon region in the south of France.
It is ideally situated between the papal city of Avignon and Roman Nimes, two of the most historic and beautiful towns in all of France. A visit to Avignon (25 minutes) and Nimes (25 minutes) is a must during your stay and the nearby towns of Arles (30 minutes), Montpellier (45 minutes) and Les Baux de Provence (30 minutes) highlight the great location of La Bastide Sainte Anne.
The medieval village of Uzes is 15 minutes away where a visit to the Sunday market is a great experience, while the local village of Castillon du Gard (population 1100) has a selection of restaurants and antique shops alongside the typical boulangerie, boucherie and tabac journaux (newspapers, bookshop) found in the villages of the region.
