Come relax and enjoy a nice peaceful holiday from the hustle and bustle of big city life. Our 2 Bdrm, 2 bath condo in Heron Point is perfectly situated in the small town of Invermere, BC. For the avid skiers, you can take a short drive (15 minutes) up to Panorama ski hill and enjoy your day up there.
There's also great cross-country skiing on Windermere Lake (5 minute walk) at the base of Heron Point. Enjoy a nice soothing hot tub after a day of fun skiing and then sit back and relax by the fireplace before winding down for the night.
You can also enjoy a number of unique shops, excellent dining, ice-skating and nordic skiing on Lake Windermere, and hard-hitting hockey at the local arena. Invermere is a rather unique town in a delightfully unique area.
In summer, boating on Lake Windermere, Golfing and hiking in nearby mountain-lands proves to be a great summer getaway. The Windermere Valley is 'cottage country' for many Albertans and it's always a good idea to book early as bookings go fast for summer.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our condo is in beautiful Invermere, British Columbia, nestled between the Rocky Mountains and the Purcell Mountains. The complex overlooks Lake Windermere, offering spectacular views. The area is well known for its terrific golfing, boating and hiking in the summer as well as world class skiing at Panorama and snowmobiling at Toby Creek in the winter. The condo is a 5 minute walk to the heart of town or to the beach.

My name is Peg. My husband's name is Pat. Our children are Cannice (18) and Dominic (16). Pat works in the Information Technology sector and Peg is in Advertising Sales. We are all very active and are involved in various sports such as hockey, soccer, skiing/snowboarding, wakeboarding / wakesurfing, golf, and hiking.
An escape at the condo is a perfect break from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives.

A great place to get away

We had no complaints about staying in this condo. We stayed in the month of June (2010) and were there just before the busy tourist season. The condo was quite, very clean, well appointed, and a short stroll to either town or the beach. I had noticed there was a train track nearby when looking at the location map, but a local had told me you never really notice the train, and quite frankly we didn't. The pool was nice, and since we were there before the busy season, it was not crowded. The BBQ was nice and fully functioning. Laundry in-suite is always a bonus. The only thing I would change would be that the wireless internet only worked in the common areas. The common area was nice, but I would prefer to be able to use it in the room. There were plently of maps and information on the region, and some fun dining of various levels in the town. A very nice stay. Thank you. Karen
