Excellent location in Via del Governo Vecchio a famed little street in the very heart of Rome, just steps away from Piazza Navona, and it’s very quiet and safe even in the small hours of the night, and within walking distance (15 minutes radius) of the most important historical sights in the city centre. You won’t need any bus transit or taxi: you will love to discover the real life of the city by simply strolling around the neighbourhood.
You will hardly find a better location in town. Some of the major tourist attractions in Rome (including St Peter’s Cathedral and the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant’Angelo, Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Largo Argentina, Piazza Venezia, the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, among others) are within comfortable walking distance.
Via del Governo Vecchio, where you will find us, is a cheerful and quiet little street full of trendy boutique shops and nice little places to dine or have a drink at in the evening.
NEW PLATINUM APARTMENT is a two level suite. Downstairs there is a bathroom and a lIttle room, upstairs there are two rooms, one bedroom an one living room with kitchenette and view on Governo Vecchio street.

This cute, cozy apartment was everything as promissed. The location was great, it was a walking distance to every major site in Rome within 15 minutes. We stayed here for 4 days in July 2011. Domitillia was great briefing our framily of four , on restaurants and stoes within walking distance. Would definately stay here again.

The apartment location was wonderful, close to Navona Square, and Vatican. I was especially grateful that the apartment was warm and welcoming when we arrived. I really loved the neighborhood too. We spent a lot of time exploring Navona Square, Coliseum, and other wonderful ruins as well as walking along the Roman Forum. I look forward to returning to Rome again one day soon in Alessandro’s flat.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We stayed at this apartment for our honeymoon in Rome. It is small when comparing to American hotels/apartments, but exactly what we wanted. Close to everything. After the first day, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere. This apartment is one block from Piazza Navona, within about 15 minutes to The Vatican, short walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, The Colisseum, really everything. The apartment is clean, has a small washer, stove top, and apartment-size refrigerator ... Everything you need to have a great stay in Rome. We plan on coming back to Rome and staying here again! Thank you for making our honeymoon even better than we ever imagined! Diane
