Year Purchased: 2009
Coming from New England we decided to spend time in various locations in Florida when ski season was over. When we discovered Anna Maria Island we felt like we had found just what we were looking for: a wonderful beach for walking, swimming, shelling and just plain enjoying. In addition, we felt that this "old Florida" island was the perfect get-away. It got so hard to leave each year that we had to buy our own bit of paradise. Our children also love it and come to visit frequently. They are so excited that we now own our own home.
Why the Owner Chose Anna Maria
Searching for an out of the ordinary get-away, we discovered Anna Maria Island. We've been going back eagerly every year for the laid-back ambiance. We found bit of "old Florida" with no hi-rise buildings and a gorgeous gulf beach.

In addition, a screened-in lanai overlooks the backyard providing a beautiful island breeze and relaxing eating. The backyard has a covered patio with a 4 person spa, maintenance free, and sanitized with an ozone filter. The two and one-half baths, and 3 bedrooms sleeping six, provide all the comforts one wants.
