The parade of sailboats & working lobster boats will transport you! Spacious living & open yard w/ well-kept lawn. Open kitchen & family room w/ ocean views. HW floors! Laundry. Kids welcome. A single well-behaved pet considered (not preferred.) Seasonal free bicycle loaners on island. Beaches w/in a 10 min walk. Island swimming Pool through Aug. 9-hole golf course. Make night/day trips to The Olde Port (Portland) for dinner on one of 2 ferries servicing the island. Deposit & easy lease required. Day trip to Freeport & LLBEAN. Call for details. 4 day min! One gets the sense here of being out in a community at sea. The views while walking or riding a bicycle are far reaching, sometime elevated sometimes right at sea level. Great restaurants in Portland and shopping in Freeport or send the kids out to lunch at Mr. Ed's store! Golf, drinks at Cheb Island Inn, BBQ's, picnics, boating, swimming, beaches, exploring! Get some peace of mind this vacation! Experience an island community, yak with the locals at Mr. Eds, take a Casco Bay island excursion to Portland & back- see how the mail gets delivered. Look for seals, swim or float in our cove at high tide or from one of many sandy beaches on the island.
Eat Lobster: BBQ, Picnics, beach picnics, Portland, Freeport, Chebeague island Inn, Mr. Ed's for lunch or pizza or sandwiches, SWIMMING! Yes, one can easily swim here, it is not too cold to take an ocean swim. Warmer ocean temperatures than further south in Maine!
