Finally, yet importantly are the trails, alongside the creek under the breathtaking trees.
The children will enjoy the toys, kids power wheels, the bicycles, th basketball hoop, as well as the play structure and swings which make the whole place a heaven for kids. They can also run around the trails, in the vineyard , up and down the trees and just have a great time.
The Vineyard: The 10 acre vineyard consists of twelve blocks of different varietals and clones. Each season brings its own charm and beauty to the vineyard. The buds start coming out in spring and in September when the leaves start changinging colors, it is amazing to look at the majestic grape bunches hanging from the vines.

We stayed at this beautiful home for 1 week while looking for a house in Santa Rosa. The way the home is layed out is perfectly for extended families, or groups that like privacy and perhaps different temperatures at night - also being on one level was important to us as we were traveling with my Mom. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is large and well appointed, but the best part is the grounds - set amongst a working vineyard, the house is surrounded by huge redwoods, a stream and lots of walking paths. We walked every morning in the cool, crisp sunshine - there are chickens to visit (but NOT noisy rooster calls), a fabulous tree swing, 2 outdoor patios where you can find sun or shade any time of day. We used the grill and outdoor heaters, did puzzles and watched movies in the evening - we didn't even want to go out to dinner, it was so beautiful there. Shawn is a gracious host who was available for any questions - the house has everything, though, we didn't feel a need for anything. For families with small children, there is a playroom full of toys and there are electric cars and bigwheels in the garage. I really can't say enough good things about this home, it is warm and inviting, 10 minutes from town on a lovely country road, quiet and peaceful - we loved it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here during our yearly bike ride through wine country and could not have been happier. The pictures don't do the property justice; we were blown away as we entered our own beautiful private vineyard. The house is very spacious, clean, and well appointed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I booked this amazing house and property for a last minute Thursday - Saturday stay. I found the owners very accommodating with my last minute trip. The house itself is huge, large enough for at least three couples and kids. The playroom for the kids was just amazing, and in the Garage they actually have one of those cars that kids can drive around. There are also bikes, footballs, frisbees, and a basketball court. Walking around the property was really fun, we got to see the chickens, the huge rope swing (attached to a tree), and took a really nice long walk around the vineyard. My brother and I took a run up and down the street (about 2.5 miles or so round trip) which was great, I don't think we passed a single moving car. The fire pits and heating lamps were also really nice for night time. There is also a shopping center about 7 minutes drive away with a Safeway which was very convenient. It's really close (20 minute drive) to Sonoma, but there are also a bunch of more local vineyards/tasting rooms near by. Overall, it was just an incredible stay, and I can't wait to book again as soon as possibleRecommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We are going to return next year! This is a real gem and the grounds include countless mini-adventures. It is far enough away for true peace and quiet, yet close enough to the nearby towns for easy nights out. The thoughtfulness of owners in regards to welcoming our children has been second to none. No need to bring any toys or games for the children. They have is ALL covered and then some! Great place!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed for a weekend with our two children, ages 9 and 11. Our family had a wonderful time in this home. One of our children has a disability, which makes it hard to get away on vacation, but this spot had something for all of us. Surrounded by vineyards, mountains, roses and redwoods, the property is just beautiful. The pictures on this site can't begin to do it justice. It was so relaxing and lovely for the adults: reading a book under the redwoods, looking at the stars, enjoying a bottle of wine by the fireplace, strolling around the vineyards, barbecuing on the patio. But the house and surrounding property also have everything a kid could want: toys, swings, books, board games, puzzles, a pit for roasting mashmallows, grape vines, a chicken coop, a creek and a whole world of other natural wonders to explore. It was amazing! And even though we felt like we were in a separate world, there was shopping, restaurants and parks all just a short 10-15 minute drive away. The kids especially loved Howarth Park, which had pony rides, a carousel and a train. The owners were wonderfully responsive and welcoming. We wanted for nothing all weekend. Another couple and their one-year-old joined us one night and they were already talking about another vacation there before we'd even left! Thank you, thank you, thank you for a perfect weekend!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This year, our family reunion was "heavenly". The location was enchanting, the house was beautiful, bright and well appointed but, most of all, one could feel the warmth and generosity of the owners. This is a place where you can cast your troubles away, connect with nature and succumb to the beauty and the peace of the area. The landscape blended splendidly with the forest and the little bridges over the creek completed this pastoral paradise. No doubt that all luck visitors will cherish this exquisite retreat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you so much for opening your home and grounds to us. Our stay here at Moaveni Vineyard was absolutely delightful in every way. We enjoyed walking the trails, admiring the vineyard, and feeding the chickens, among many other things (oh, and the swing was so much fun). The attention to detail of both the house and the property was impeccable. One can tell the owners love their property, and this translates into a pleasurable vacation for those who appreciate both a beautiful landscape and the comforts of a cozy home. We will return again!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had such a nice stay at the Moaveni Vineyards! The house is beautiful and had everything we could ever need. The bedrooms and baths were very nice and clean, as were the common areas. We had three children with us and there were toys to play with and adventures to be had around the property. The grounds were unbelievable. On our first walk we saw wild turkeys and an owl! The manager was also fantastic! She made sure we had everything we needed and as you can tell it meant a lot to us. Great vacation! Can't wait to go back.
