Custom cherry cabinetry throughout the house. Garage.
Upstairs: Bedroom w/queen bunks; bedroom with twin bunks. New bathroom with double sink vanity, river rock floor, and tile shower.
Main floor: Living room, dining room, spacious kitchen, bedroom (queen) and remodeled bathroom with double sink vanity on tumbled marble countertop and shower. Outdoor dining on deck off dining room.
Downstairs: Radiant heat makes for a cozy TV room (52" flat screen), laundry room (great for drying out wet ski clothes), bedroom (queen) and new bathroom.
Sunny and quiet neighborhood with a short path that leads to the Harker Recreation Center offering a huge pool, Jacuzzi, kids' pool, 9 tennis courts, playground and open spaces (closed in winter). Also, one mile away is Elkhorn Village (an amenity also included in rental) which offers another large pool, more tennis courts, a store, and the beautiful 18 - Hole Elkhorn Golf Course (fee). Our neighborhood is adjacent to the bike path (38 miles of paved biking/jogging trails).
We are located on the free bus line (KART) that goes throughout the Ketchum and SV area. It's a 10 minute ride to the River Run ski lifts (on Baldy) or to Ketchum (which boasts superb dining, art galleries and shopping) or the SV Lodge (and ice skating rink). Also easy access (5 minutes) by car or bus to Dollar Mountain which is renown for its beginning ski slopes and the exquisite new Carol Day Lodge.

We prefer the Elkhorn area because it stays lighter longer than in town. It's centrally located: easy access to either Baldy or Dollar Mountain, the town of Ketchum or Sun Valley Lodge (and ice skating rink). It's so quiet, except for the welcome sound of a snowploy clearing away the night's snowfall on the roads!

The security deposit check was in the mail so thanks for sending that back so quickly. We truly enjoyed our month at your home. SV and Elkhorn offer so many amenities and the perfect weather in which to do them. We are hooked on this ... and to think it's only a few hours' drive from the grandkids! We're already talking about next summer...

Just wanted to let you know our family had a super time in Sun Valley, and your home was even more perfect for us than I had anticipated. It's lovely altogether and we were so comfortable. We did appreciate the extra attention with the internet (I figured later we were travelling with no less than six laptops!) and getting us into the hot spa pool--totally refreshing and relaxing at the same time! It was all exactly what we'd hoped for and each member of our group was especially pleased and complimentary. As my husband said, we'd love to do it all again and stay right there! Kristen, thank you for returning our deposit--your check and kind note arrived this week, but I was "housebound" and didn't pick up the mail until Saturday, so I'm not sure when it arrived. No matter, thank you very much. We found your home to be so comfortable, and obviously 'home'; we could do nothing less than treat it as we would our own. I just want you to know that we have really enjoyed staying at your Sun Valley house for the last three weeks. In fact, we are already talking about returning next summer and would love to have the first right of refusal for these same 3 weeks of the Music Festival. The weather has been wonderful with just a couple of rainy days and everything has worked out beautifully in every way.

Our family enjoyed a three night stay at this beautiful home in July 2009. The owners were great to work with and made the rental process easy as pie. We found the home to be very clean, comfortable, well appointed, and perfect for our stay in Sun Valley. The kitchen and baths were striking and modern-- the living spaces tastefully decorated, comfortable, and great for spending time together. As an added bonus, the community center and pool was just short walk from the home. All in all, I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it anyone planning a visit to area.
