The renovation of this 1889 Victorian Home has just been completed. Located at street level the entrance is directly off side walk and through entry gate, no stairs! The Hawthorne 2 Bed Room Flat is found in the bottom portion of our home, which puts you steps away from all that is special about the great neighborhood of Hawthorne. You will enjoy old world charm with new world amenities, this apt. feels fresh and new. The unit includes two bedrooms, the master with a queen bed. The 2nd Bdrm with a Queen as well as an additional twin bed, one bath complete with claw foot tub, living room, and full kitchen. The private patio is a wonderful work of art, this is a inviting spot where you can sip your morning coffee, dine, or just sit and relax. We've done our best to make this rental as child friendly as possible. A play-n-pack, highchair, and toys/books are available. There is also a fabulous park 1 block away with a huge play area. Cable TV is offered, as well as a DVD/VHS player& Wi-Fi. This is a non-smoking unit.

This ground level 2 Bdrm Flat is located blocks away from the Hawthorne Boulevard as well as the new and fun up and coming Belmont area. Hawthorne is lined with locally-owned coffee shops, antique stores, cafes, and trendy clothing shops, many with a bohemian flavor reminiscent of the 70's. Belmont is lower key but offers it's own unique style. Enjoy the many popular restaurants and pubs, which offer sidewalk seating or wander among the tree lined neighborhoods where the bungalow and craftsman homes have been restored to there natural beauty.
We also have beautiful Laurelhurst park a few blocks down. The 30 acre interior of the park is defined by a large pond, the walking paths that snake through the landscape makes for great wandering, with plenty of benches and nooks to drop down on for a moment of repose, or perhaps some lunch. The park also provides a great kid friendly area.
A major bus line is conveniently located one block away. We're seven minutes from downtown; ten minutes from Portland State University, fifteen minutes from Oregon Health Sciences University; and about 20 minutes from the airport.
Our home is strictly non-smoking, no pets. There is a 2 night minimum required for all advance reservations. A (1 or 2) night rental + cleaning fee may be considered based upon availability when booked within 5 days of arrival.

What a great place! We felt at home instantly! And the location was prime -- near Fred Meyer for groceries, and a ton of restaurants and bars off Hawthorne. We'd definitely come back again! Two of our favorite places - Pine Street Biscuits and Sel Gris! Amazing Food! Thanks a lot-- We'll never forget our time here! XOXO
