Amazing 3 story Pocono Mountain Chalet getaway with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths with sleeping loft area and pull out couch. Sleeps 8. Perfect for the family vacation or weekend getaway. Located in Locust Lake Village, this three-story getaway sits on the community ski slope and is only 150 yards down the hill to the lake and beach. It's tucked into a very private location on an acre lot. In winter you can enjoy watching the skiers come down the the mountain or join in the fun. The home features a rear deck for barbecues and a sun deck upstairs off the master bedroom suite. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace in winter and cool AC and ceiling fans in summer. Fully equipped kitchen, two TVs DVD player, WiFI, a stereo and CD player, pool table, bar with stools, washer, dryer and built in phone booth. Locust Lake Village is located in Pocono Lake, PA; close to Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Resort, Split Rock Lodge, Lake Harmony, Camelback Ski and Water Park, Pocono Raceway, and Mt Airy casino. Hunting trip

Property was beautiful. House was clean. Love the view from the deck. My shelf and my hunting buddies loved Locust Lakes, we saw more deer outback than we did in the game land. I will definitely book for next November.

Nice home

This is our second stay at this home. There were some nice improvements in the kitchen. The home has everything you need. Our only complaints are it could be cleaner upon arrival (dust on heaters and ac vent filters) and the mattresses could be updated. They're loud and not very comfortable. Overall a great community and a nice home.

Vicky and I live in Bucks County, PA. We both grew up in New Jersey. We operate our own small publishing business. And, getting away to mountains is something we enjoy. A great stress releaser with plenty to do for the entire family.

Why they chose this property

Our home is a true unique mountain home. Upon your arrival you will be amazed of this beautiful tranquil setting. The cabin/chalet is decorated like a true mountain getaway. We have the walls decorated with snow shoes, ski's, a sled, ice skates and more. We have hand carved wood furniture pieces, stone fireplace, rustic woodwork throughout. And, the comforters and bed sheets are designed for the cabin feel. It's situated in very peaceful location yet close to everything. A short walk to the lake and sandy beaches or ski in the winter right out the backyard! A true place you will always remember. And, the home is well maintained since we vacation there too.

What makes this property unique

If you love the outdoors and wildlife, you will love our place. Nestled in between lightly wooded lot, the upper deck off the master bedroom feels like a treehouse. And, a fit pit in rear is great for those cold fall nights or to warm up while skiing. Our property is located on ski hill in community. Many of our guests never want to leave and many come back to this unique spot to unwind, relax and have fun.
