This is a wonderful four bedroom, three bath lake front vacation home that can easily accommodate several couples and is a great place to enjoy your next visit to the Cashiers/Lake Glenville area. On the main level as you enter, to the left there is a separate dining room with a lake view. Ahead of you is the living room overlooking Lake Glenville and a well equipped kitchen. Also on this level is the master bedroom with a King bed and master bath as well as a guest bedroom with a Queen Bed and bathroom that also serves as the guest bathroom. Leading downstairs you have the "Americana Bedroom" which is a very patriotic red, white & blue bedroom and a seperate bunk room with four beds. Both of these bedrooms are off a separate downstairs living area. There is also a bathroom and laundry facilities on this level of the house.
Located on the North side of the lake, you are just steps from your own private dock! Half way to the dock is an additional very private deck with hammock for just lazing around or reading a book and taking in the Sunset. The property is accessed through a local farm area and you are close as well to Hwy 107 for day trips to Cashiers, Highlands and local area attractions.
This Home is Pet friendly, kid friendly, and definitely fun friendly, this home is sure to please, so make sure to book early!
We are a short drive to both Cashiers and Highlands where you will find great antiquing, restaurants and shops. The area is often referred to as "the land of waterfalls", five of which feed Lake Glenville situated at 3542 feet above sea level with 26 miles of shoreline and pristine mountain lake waters.
Summer is Special on the Lake! There is never a dull moment at the lake-- whether waterskiing, viewing waterfalls, fishing, hiking, camping, shopping or just relaxing. Just being at the lake together makes special memories that few places can match! There is truly 'something for everyone' to do. Turn the kids loose to jump in the lake while you sit on the porch rocker and just read a good book. Go for a hike and view a waterfall of magnificent beauty; visit a local town and go antiquing; view mountain art at one of the many craft shows. Golf at one of the local top class courses. If you want moment to moment activity for all age groups, it is available. If you want relaxation, it is inherent in this "getaway from it all"-paradise. Think of summer 2011 now, as this is the most popular time for cooling off at the lake!
