This was our first time staying in your condo - it's always booked! We had a relaxing week - all the comforts of home plus the sun and hot temperatures. The new sun screens on the large private terrace allowed us to block the heat of the sun but not the view and we were able to have the doors open all day and not use the air conditioning once. We cannot say enough good things about the staff at the condo - they are wonderful. The condo restaurant served great meals. We enjoyed our time on the beach and in the village with the lovely Mexican people of Mismaloya. We hope to return soon for a much longer stay.
Owner response:Dear Donna and Shannon, Thank you posting your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the near future.

We had a great week at the Condo Mismaloya. The condo was perfect with a lovely room, super comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, nice living area. The pool area was great, although we were disappointed that kids weren't allowed in the hot tub. The beach access is just two flights of stairs and it's a lovely beach, very safe with no undertow. There's a little village just a few minutes' walk away with the basic amenities and a few restaurants, and it was certainly good for our kids to see "real" Mexican life rather than the luxury of an all-inclusive. The bus ride into Puerto Vallarta took about 20 minutes (the buses come very frequently) and was very entertaining. I'd recommend eating in Puerto Vallarta, since we found the condo restaurant and even the village restaurants to be quite expensive, but if you don't want to go to town you can certainly get everything you need within walking distance of the condo. We would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:Dear Rhylin, Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review of your stay at Condo Mismaloya. We are happy that you enjoyed your time in our beautiful corner of Puerto Vallarta and we look forward to seeing you again in the future. We noted your comment regarding kids not being allowed in the hot tub. We love kids, however they are not allowed in the hot tub due to safety and health reasons. The condo association was advised by health professionals that it is unsafe for children under the age of 12 to be in a hot tub. On your next visit, try Juan and Only (in the village) and El Jacalito (across the bridge) for inexpensive meals. There is also a good rotisserie chicken place.

This was our second stay in the condo - very enjoyable. The staff is wonderful. The condo sleeps six but the day bed in the living room is a double/full. Bring your own coffee or tea, sugar & creamer if you need it. All the appliances are very nice, lots of glasses, cups, etc. If you are worried about cooking, don't, head to Tony's for dinner in the village of Mismaloya and check out El Jacalito (on the Hwy just across the bridge). On the beach the palapa restaurants are perfect for cool drinks and snacks, the fish tacos are pretty tasty. You can always pick up a few essentials from the little market, up the road towards the village, at Casa Iguana. While it is easy to catch the bus (right across the street) into Puerto Vallarta, there are plenty of taxi's also. We spend most of our time at the beach in Mismaloya and this time visited the zoo (pay a bit extra to pet or hold the babies). The beach vendors are great, since it was a slow time for them we really got a chance to visit. The last day a couple of us did get bit, not sure if that was from the zoo or beach - maybe take some deet bug spray/lotion for ankles and lower legs.

The decor of our condo is lovely, so many special items. And the view, fantastic, spying dolphins and manta rays from the deck, snorkeling, fishing, etc.

I do believe my favorite part of the days were the mornings on the balcony having a cup of coffee and listening to the surf as the sun made it's way over the mountains. The palms sway in the breeze, the pelicans fly in their water skimming formations, and the swallows swoop and chirp. So peaceful watching the day wake up.

The time flies by so fast - it is time to leave your beautiful "casa" . Dixie and I had a great time once again. We both love it here. It is hard to leave. We found 2 new restaurants this trip. La Nybe and De santos'. Food is great at both.

What a lovely home you have. Thanks so much for the beautifully stocked house and your great advice. Puerto Vallarta is nice, but as someone mentioned earlier, the outlook over the bay and Mismaloya is the best part. This is a very nice spot.

We took a couple of boat trips - one snorkeling to Los Arcos and one to a secluded beach south of here. On our way back from the beach we saw whales and were able to get up quite close in the little boat we were in - an amazing experience!
