Hawkesdene House is a Private Mountain Estate located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Nestled in a private cove on 26 acres, the entire estate is available for your 'reunion-style' wedding, family reunion or special group retreat.
The Main House is a 10,000 square foot seven bedroom, seven and a half bathroom three level home with terraces, balconies and a massive open air pavilion attached to the house. In addition, there are five private cottages that include a living room with fireplace, cable TV and DVD player, central heat and air, inside and outside dining areas, screened porch, and a fully equipped kitchen.
With the Main House and five cottages, the estate has a total of 17 rooms and can accommodate up to 52 guests in elegant accommodations; and dining is available for up to 125 event guests. Upscale ameneties, beautiful landscaping, fabulous gardens and impeccably manicured grounds ensure a memory-making experience.
Without leaving the estate, you can hike from your door to a hidden waterfall, take a llama trek to a mountain top or pan for gold in the sparkling stream meandering through the property. And just minutes away you can enjoy mountain biking, zip lining, golf, fly fishing, horseback riding, scenic drives, shopping and white water rafting adventures on the nearby Ocoee or Nantahala rivers.
