We had the greatest time this past week. The house is fully functional, comfortable and an incredibly welcoming home. The location is unreal! we got to literally cross the street to watch the beautiful sunset every evening. What a perfect vacation. Thank you Mike and Chris, it was the time of our lives!

Maison très bien équipée, très pratique avec des enfants. Bien située Encore mieux qu en photos, et vraiment bien pour les bébés (jeux, poussette , lit parapluie..) Très bon séjour

Wonderful Vacation

Our group of 9 (4 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 six year old) stayed at the Hanna house in March of 2012. Mike Hanna was wonderful to work with. He was patient with all my questions as this was the first time our family ever rented a vacation house. The house met all of our needs. The pool was wonderful for the kids during down time and the beach was probably a three minute walk from the house. The location of the house was perfect for our group. Located in the middle of the island it was far enough away from all the spring breakers to enjoys a more quiet part of the beach for family activities. The house was equipped with so many extras to make our vacation complete. (Beach towels, a cooler, sand toys...and even a blender for a couple adult cocktails.) We would definitely rent this house again if we ever find ourselves vacationing in the FMB area. We would (and have) definitely recommend the Hanna house to friends. Thanks for everything Mike, we had a truly wonderful vacation!

Just got back from Ft Myers Beach and the stay at this house. AWESOME is about all I can say. The house was so nice and clean, as well as comfortable. We had 11 females that came down from MN on a girls weekend and had an absolute blast! Pool area was nice to sit around, although kind of shaded so not a place to lay out and tan. No problem though, because you can head across the street for a quite, private beach, or drive down to the pier and enjoy lots of shopping, restaurants and tons of action on the beach. We spent all of Saturday there and had the best time. Everyone was so friendly! My sister dealt with the owner directly and he was so helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this for familes as well as a "girls weekend". Only thing that should be updated is the number of beds. I says 4 twin beds, but there are only 3....and one of those is a top bunk. A 44 year old climbed up there easily and slept, so it was no big deal. Also, the downstairs area is not accessible from inside of the house. You have to go outside and enter from a different door. Kind of like a little apartment down there. 4 adults slept down there and it worked out great! So happy we found this house. I would go back again!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner response: The fourth twin bed is part of a trundle bed. It needs to be pulled out from below the bed.

Lovely home less than 5 min.walk to beach!!

Our son was stationed at Ft. Hood in Texas with the US Army for 3 years and spent 1 year in Iraq. He missed many family vacations with us. Our youngest daughter is 18 and going away to college in the fall. I was on a quest for the PERFECT family vacation! I did extensive research on the internet. The Hanna house gave us THE PERFECT VACATION!! I can’t thank Mike Hanna enough for our experience! Many properties said they were “within walking distance” to the beach. Mike Hanna was the ONLY one who truly was! I Google Earthed all the properties and this house is 1 house/cross the street/1 house and you’re there! Walk down a beautiful, fragrant path to the secluded, pristine white sandy beach. Crowded “hotel” beaches are further down the island. It’s truly less than a 5 minute walk! The pier is a 2 mile walk or about a less than 10 minute car ride. We wanted our “kids” to be able to explore the Ft. Myers Beach island as they pleased. The trolley is just steps away and only 50 cents. They rented scooters one day and went exploring. Our son worked out every day at Hammerhead Muscle Beach Gym. The library is just a mile down Estero. The house FAR exceeded our expectations!! We have rented many homes but nothing in this home disappointed! Clean, attractive, beautiful décor and screened pool/patio. Our family included 6 adults and 1 child age 7. They have an endless supply of games, books, even crafts on hand. Bikes, pool toys, rafts, beach umbrella, cooler, beach chairs…all you need, all provided! So spacious that we enjoyed each others company but were able to have privacy and time away. The front and back screened in porches were wonderful complete with deck chairs/ashtrays. At night with little traffic on Estero Blvd. you can actually hear the ocean/waves from the porch! Double doors open to the front porch from the 1st floor BR and LR. From the upper level BR and BA you can see the ocean! Beautiful, well kept neighborhood our grandson enjoyed riding the provided bike. 3 BR 2 BA in the main house with vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, large accommodating kitchen table. Lower level you will find a full apartment! 1 BR 1 BA with sleeper sofa and fully furnished kitchen. Mike Hanna was extremely helpful answering all my emails/questions. We didn’t need them but supplied was a double stroller and portable baby crib. We will definitely be back!! The area is friendly, gorgeous, with many activities! Thank you again for our wonderful memories!

Fun Colorful Beach House

This Beach House is a wonderful location , steps away from the beach, short distance from grocery store and restaurants. The property was wonderful for a family, walk to the beach then come back wash off the sand outside and relax in the pool!!! Our grandchildren loved the toys provided and the open concept of the main living area made keeping an eye on them easy. We had a blast and the owner was great. I would highly recommend this property and am looking forward to going back. :)

The house is pretty spacious and neighborhood is great and quite, close to the beach and the Publix market which makes it very practical, however had to fix the pool screen that was loose in different areas in order to keep my kids away from mosquitoes, shower drain was clogged, as contracted we organized the house upon departure, my mother even cleaned again my will however deposit was lost, try to contact the owner to show him the pictures taken the very same day of the departure and the conditions the house was left and never responded to emails of my phone calls so be aware vacationers, the place overall was great unless you don’t mind doing what you paid for and loosing some money

Owner response: The house was left a total mess which took the cleaning service twice as long to clean. All that was kept was a second cleaning fee. The remainder of the sec dep was returned.

Excellent Beach Escape

We escaped snowy Chicago and had a wonderful week! How nice to simply walk across the street to the beach access with our towels, chairs, toys, umbrella, all provided. We shared the house with my sister's family and had plenty of room to spare; really enjoyed the screened porch and had coffee there every morning. Very much enjoyed the new Bayfront Bistro restaurant near Publix, the Lazy Flamingo on Sanibel, and the Times Square area. We didn't lack for anything, and were very comfortable (beds, awesome couches) and it was so nice to be able to underpack and do laundry. Thanks very much to the Hanna family for sharing your house, and to Mike and Mark, the island contact, for responding so quickly when we had a lock malfunction; it was fixed before we returned from dinner. We'll be back!

Great Family Vacation

Our entire family flew down from southern Ohio and we found everything we needed at the Hanna`s beach house. The beach was a short walk away with no one around, talk about private.My In-laws stayed in the ground floor apartment poolside and loved it because that did not have to walk up and down the stairs.We have 2 children (12 &1 1/2 and with the internet for the 12 yr old and all the toys for the little guy it made for a perfect vacation. We will be back.

The house was terrific, colourful and tasteful decor. The amenities were very good, the ground floor second kitchen & wash room was very convenient for pool use and BBQing. The beach could not be easier to access and there are plenty of beach toys, chairs etc. Make sure you go to the docks to buy some of the best scallops and shrimp we have ever eaten.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

We just returned from this WONDERFUL house, and can't wait to make plans to return. There was NOTHING missing. It accommodated our 2 families and was very child-friendly (5 kids ranging from 2-9!!! and 4 grown-ups). We all loved the pool---there are pool toys galore, a grill and a radio. We just bought a child monitor for the little ones nand walkie talkies for the older kids so we could socialize around the pool after bedtime, and still connect with the main living space easily...We also loved from a safety perspective that the kids couldn't access the pool readily through the main living space. The beach is sooo incredibly close---I have had to walk farther from condos and hotels right on the beach. What a beautiful private beach; quiet and clean. The toys and computer and dvd's and books were amazing. Our kids were so occupied. It was like home away from home. Mark (the island contact) was prompt and communicative. The whole process of renting was also really easy; the owners are very available and helpful. The screened balconies all around the home, as well as the separate pool 'apartment' (as we referred to it) downstairs added character, and just the right 'away' space so people were never crowded. There was a complete kitchen, bath and bedroom down there off the pool patio--so easy to hang out at the pool and have all the comforts right there without going back upstairs. The furnishings and linens felt clean and nice and everything was decorated and appealing. I am VERY picky in choosing our beach destinations. This is our new "family favorite"...I have told all our friends with families about.

We stayed for 8 wonderful days in mid-July. The lower apartment was wonderful for the young man with us, and we used that as a base for our lunches poolside after a morning on the beach. We had a 5-year old with us too, so we appreciated the security of the pool area. House was well-appointed for all our cooking needs (we only went out oncefor lunch, but were at Publix at least once a day!) Had some great domino games at the kitchen table, and if we left the house at 8PM, we were still on the beach for sunset with plenty of time to spare! The couches were heavenly-everybody napped at least once on them! Thanks for a great time!

Our group of 10 ranging in age 4 to 67 had a fabulous time at your beach house during Thanksgiving Week. The house was so well equipped including kids scissors and glue for a children's art project. The beach is beautiful and private. The 4 yr. old was thrilled with collecting 107 sand dollars. It was also quite a treat to see the dolphins swim by. Again, I have never rented a house that has everything. Thanks Mike Ginny

My parents, sisters, brothers-in-law, and nephews all stayed at the Hanna house in June, 2006. The location was great with the beach directly across the street, and shopping and dining very close. They all enjoyed their stay tremendously. My mom and dad pointed out to me that EVERYTHING in the whole house WORKED!!! We've rented summer vacation places for years, and usually dealt with some minor inconveniences with some things not working, then having to figure out how to get them fixed, etc. The house is so well equipped that when my children went over to visit, they had toys to play with, and the big kids had movies to watch, a pool to swim in, etc. My sister left a fishing pole at the house after they locked up and called me from the airport to see if I would look into it. Mr. Brain and Mike Hanna both made sure that I got it. Thank you for wonderful accomadations and a beautiful place to stay!!! Patty Buckner

Can you imagine going to the beach, renting a house and all you need to do is show up? That's how well everything went when I brought my family to the Hanna's beach house. The only thing we needed was to go grocery shopping. The beach? Just across the street. Restaraunts and shopping? Just down the road(many within walking distance). my daughter is three years old and was always content with ALL that was available. Thanks for having such great amenities available.

Our family met here the first week of June of 2006 and we loved the Hanna beach home. It is brightly and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We celebrated our 50th anniversary so we had all ages (3 years to 79 years old!). Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beach access was great- only 3 minutes and you are on the beach to see a beautiful sunset. Mike was always accessible as was Richard, the manager, who was very helpful. We would like to return, it was great.

Our family enjoyed the beach house in May. It was everything we could have wanted. Close enough to the beach(across the street) yet private. We all enjoyed the enclosed pool tremendously as well. Great layout of home with ample, comfortable furniture in Great Room to lounge or watch T.V. Mike, we did not want for any cooking utensils. Well stocked kitchen for our every need. We would definately return. Your word is as good as it gets!! Great business ethic!! Thanks so much. We needed a repreave before heading into the Campaign season.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful beach house 4/22/06 - 4/27/06 and had a wonderful time! The location was just what we asked for, not too close to downtown but not too far away either. The house itself was great! The layout was just what we were looking for for 10+ people. We loved the fact that we were able to have cookouts and enjoy the pool in the evening and just walk across the street to the beach! It truely was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone! We had the time of our lives! This was a super place for 12 girlsfriends from elementary school to spend time laughing about old times and getting away from it all at home. We visited in late May of 2005. The weather was unbelievable. The house was perfect. The service from Mike and his property manager in FLA was great too. Many of us would like to come back on family vacations here as well. The house has everything you can think of. It was close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and anything else you might need. I have recommended this house to many friends who are considering visiting this area.

We stayed at the house during the first week of October and had the best time. The house is great-everything you could want and then some! Great pool, wonderful and colorful decor, convenient beach access, good shopping, and fun, relaxing atmosphere! Our family had an amazing Labor Day weekend at the Hanna home. Spacious and immaculate, if you're looking for a get-away place with all the comfort and convenience of your own home, this is truly the place. It's a perfect setting for families to relax and regroup and offers so many perks to keep children of all ages (we range in age from 3-89) happily occupied after beach and pool time is over. The Hanna home more than exceeded all of our expectations and we would like to say, "Thank you, Mike".

This house is beautiful! From the moment you walk in, the relaxation begins. The house is spotless, the pool incredible! We only needed to grocery shop and our week-long stay was perfect! We didn't have a car and found getting around was simple. Cabs are available, or you can walk or trolley anywhere. The house offers such a sense of serenity and is filled with great memories. This is my 2nd visit, and I only dream of going back.I was even lucky enough to see dolphins in the Gulf! Thanks!

We just returned from a wonderful week at the house. We were 10 people, 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children. The house was very comfortable. There were many books, games, and toys for the little ones as well as movies and DVDs for the adults. The pool was wonderful. We could not keep the children out of the pool. There were so many pool toys and we loved walking to the beach. The location was great. The supermarket is less than a mile away and the downtown is about two miles away. There were more than enough dishes, glasses, silverware and towels for everyone. The computer hookup was great. We would like to be able to use the house again next year, if we can get the family together. We also were very lucky with the weather. We only had about 15 minutes of rain the whole week.

Mike Hanna was very helpful and worked to make sure everything was taken care of.... We had a great time, the house was comfortable, well maintained and equipped with everything needed for a successful family vacation... Lots of movies for adults and children.... Books to read. The access to the beach is excellent and the pool is great too. I dare say Mike has thought of everything! Thanks Mike.

The pictures on this website don't do this house justice! It is absolutely beautiful and spacious and just a hop and a skip to the beach. The furnishings were so comfortable and there wasn't anything you needed that they didn't have! The poolside apartment was an added bonus!

Great house! Our group of five adults were very comfortable. Nicely furnished inside and out. Front and back upstairs screened porches are nice places to start the day with a cup of coffee. Easy to find, convenient parking and accessible to the beach. Private poolside apartment was a bonus. Mike is helpful.

We stayed with our girls (3) & sons in laws & their children (4 grandaughters). We especially loved the separate apartment (downstairs by the pool)... Just a hop & skip to the beach & definitely a child-orientated place, while still being tastefully decorated & colorful. Vacation 6/2 thru 6/9 was lovely!

My family stayed in this beach house the third week of May and we really loved it. It had all the features of home and was lacking nothing. If you needed anything this house had it. My mother is in a wheelchair and the downstairs apartment was perfect for her, which made her vacation that much enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this house to my friends and family. The beach was very easy to access and it was just beautiful. My family will certainly be coming back in the near future

ME and my family stayed in this beach house the 4th week of May and we loved it. This house is really beautiful and really made you feel that you were at home. All the things you can think of you would need, this house has it. my mother is in a wheelchair, and it has a downstairs apartment that is connected that really made her vacation enjoyable. This beach house was perfect and I will definitly tell my friends and family about it. And if that is not enough, the beach is less than a 1 minute walk and it is 7 miles of gorgeous white sand.

We stayed at this home third week of April and everybody said that it was the best vacation in our life specially for the kids. That home has it all excellent pool with night light, very quite neighborhood excellent location (90 seconds walk to the beautiful beach), all stuff for the beach. This place has it all for perfect, enjoyable, relaxing vacation. I will recommend it to all my friends. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

WE STAYED AT THIS HOUSE WITH ANOTHER FAMILY FOR 10 DAYS. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOUSE WAS GREAT. WE LOVED HAVING OUR OWN POOL AND THE BEACH WAS JUST A QUICK WALK AWAY. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE TO ANYONE. WE HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT OUR STAY HERE.

My parents rented this spacious house for our family -- grandkids included. You couldn't ask for a more kid-friendly home. There are very nice toys, videos, books, and pool toys available for kids of all ages. We all enjoyed the screened-in pool and balconies. The rooms were large, tastefully decorated, and inviting. It was also just a short walk to the beach. Basically, this house is definitely as nice as it is advertised to be. We were extremely happy with it and would stay there again.

This property has everything. We spent a fantastic week here and the whole family enjoyed the pool, the balcony, the beach and the house. The beach is a few yards away, you couldnt ask for more

It' a home away from home. It is inviting and comfortable for the whole family. The house has everything yu could ask for: a big kitchen and table, private pool, DVD and VCR with a full range of vidoes, and incredibly comfortable furniture. They thought of everything.

This home had everything you could think of for a wonderful vacation. The beach was terrific and the pool, private and luxurious. We enjoyed the area for short day trips. You can enjoy shopping and restaurants in Naples, shell seeking on Sanabel Island. We can't wait to go back.

This place has it all....You can walk to the beach in exactly 2 minutes. All the stores and nightlife are walking distance.
