Loved it!! this home was perfect for our family :myself, my husband and 2 boys.It had everything we wanted ;hot tub, fenced yard for the boys and wifi so my husband could do a bit of work even though we were on vacation. it was very clean and well stocked we took the short walk to the lake and a hidden beach called Speedboat highly recomended. there are also a few resturants in walking distance as well. we will definately be back. thanks again!

our family and 2 dogs had a wonderful stay here. it was very comfortable and the fenced yard was great for our dogs. The hot tub was prefect after a long day of skiing. we will be back PS thanks for the gift basket!

First the good things! The cabin was really cute and it was very dog friendly, the yard was fenced very well. When we arrived there was a cute little basket with lots of goodies, even some for the pooches!!! There was also a very nice doggy bed for them. This cabin uses a lock box to put a key in so you let yourself in upon arrival. This seems cool however when we arrived the lock box was frozen shut!!!! Also the cabin is supposed to come with 3 "candles" (they look like sterno cans) that you burn in the fireplace. We had only 1/2 a can. So we called to see if we could get more, also to get some trash bags as you are supposed to take out the trash yourself, and some toilet paper as there was only about 1/2 a roll. The lady that answered the phone stated that, "we were on our own for the T.P. and trash bags as this is not a hotel and that there should be more candles under the kitchen sink." There were none. All this I could have handled but the couches are very old and uncomfortable, same with the beds. Also the permanent resident that lives above the cabin has 2 dogs that barked alot and also ran around quite a bit at night. This I didn't mind alot either except that then my dog wants to bark also. The people who came to shovel did not bother to shovel the driveway only the front yard where the hot tub is, but they did not get the foot of snow off the top of the hot tub cover making it hard to use the hot tub. Also it took 1 month and several phone calls to finally get my security deposit back. I do not think it would have been returned on its own. Overall we did have a really good experience, I just think that we paid way to much for what we got.
Owner response: We try to make everyone of our guests and their doggy family feel very welcomed . These particular people did come during the New Years week in which not only are the prices a bit higher but this year we were under daily blizzard warnings. All of our homes have a plow service that comes by at least once daily to do driveways, however guests do need to move their cars when the service comes in order to plow the driveways. If they don't the large plows are not able to do anything. We also provide shoverlers that come by daily as well to shovel walkways as well as hot tubs. These tenants called late afternoon before they checked out to say they ran out of toilet paper and at the same time mentioned that they did not have any gel cans as well. Within 1 hour we had additional toilet paper and garbage bags droped off for them but it was blizzard conditions and were not able to drop off any gel cans. Had they called us when they checked in 5 days prior we would have been able to replace them immediately. The owner was upstairs during that time period but is no longer living onsite We have many return guests because we offer wonderful accomodations and have never had any prior complaints on the sofs or beds. They are both less than 4 years old. The home is also very well stocked .
