Our house is a 1300 sq foot cape on a very secluded lot with plenty of shade and grassy areas for kids to run around.
The screen porch overlooking the lake has a round table for 4, great for cards or board games at night after the kids go to bed, twin rocker, and 2 lounge chairs. 16' X 16' deck that has a full un obstructed view of the lake with a table for seating 6 and bench seating all around the outside edge of the deck.
The whole indoors is updated with new furniture. 1 bedroom on the main floor has a double bed, 1 bedroom upstairs has 1 double bed, large closet, and satellite TV with game console, the 3rd bedroom upstairs and has 2 bunk bed set, and a large closet great for children. The den faces the lake and has 2 sliding glass doors to the screen porch with a fireplace. Beautiful slate flooring downstairs through-out the den and kitchen.
The kitchen is small, but just outside the kitchen and next to the 16' X 16' deck is a beautiful covered outdoor kitchen-grilling area. The indoor and outdoor music system. 2 additional boom boxes are available. A basement storage area for storage of dock chairs, tubes, fishing gear, horseshoes, volleyball, badminton set, and bocce ball set.
You should never hear the "B" (bored) word from your kids at our place, we never do!

Why the Owner Chose Sherrills Ford
Lake Norman is a great lake because of the size, clean water, restaurant's accessibility by boat, secluded coves and friendly southern hospitality. Our property is in a great centrally located area in a secluded open cove that is safe for kids to swim and play. It faces west and you can enjoy sunsets over the cove every night. Our cove is a 10 min ride to the open center of the lake.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The house has a great deal of activities on on property for adults and children. They include: Tree house, lighted beach volleyball court, bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, hammock, outdoor kitchen grilling area, screened in porch, fire pit, 2 person swing to watch the sun set over the cove, and floating swim platform. In addition, use of a row boat, extra dock area to pull up boats and jet ski's. A great sandy beach provided the lake is at below 97% full pond.
