This lovely Remodeled Unit on the 1st Floor is outfitted with all the comforts of Home, Two swimming pools, and Just a Hop Skip and a Jump Across to Kamaole 3 Beach!
We welcome you with "aloha" to our ground level, NON-Smoking vacation condo located appx 250 yards, and directly across from, Kamaole Beach 3, where you can swim, snorkel, boogie board, picnic, or just relax with a good book in the glorious days under the sun.
Oceanviews abound at this popular low-rise property in South Kihei. Beautiful ocean views while BBQing dinner, Ocean views while relaxing at the upper pool... why, you can even enjoy a beautiful ocean view while playing a game of tennis! ( but oh my! don't let the beauty distract you from your game :) There is a partial ocean view from our lanai area, and absolutely gorgeous FULL ocean view if you step two feet out. The fully-equipped updated and remodeled kitchen has beautiful wood cabinets, granite counters, and everything under the sun for preparing meals, with extra diningware,utensils, etc, to entertain friends or famliy.Dining area seats four, additional seating at the extra-wide counter. Or,feel free to BBQ dinner and gather round the BBQ area, where you can meet vacationers from every part of the globe. Sip your morning Hawaiian roast coffee on the lanai(patio)... while listenening to the tropical birds and sounds of the ocean. For your sleeping comfort an eastern King bed with pillowtop mattress awaits you for a good night's sleep.(New bedrm carpet installed Oct 2010). The Living area has a tropical-style sofa and doubles as a Queen pullout bed, perfect for 2 children . Living room accents include a beautiful buffet, easy chair, color tv, with vcr/dvd player (great library of books and dvds,games,etc,) and beautiful local art. The bathroom has a 5 ft walk-in shower, easy in and out (with NO GLASS doors to bother with!),recently re-done with a new large vanity and granite counter with all new fixtures. All linens are supplied as well, including thick chaise lounge covers and plush beach towels.~NEW LINENS AND BEDDING ARE Purchased every year~.
In addition we have an ensuite full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience, complimentary high speed internet access for your laptop and parking right outside the front door. Patio closet is stocked with boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, coolers, etc, etc., for your use. That's my husband George and I. We were married on MAUI mannnnny moons ago :) Over the years we traveled back here ALLLLmost every anniversary that we could afford to,as it has always been a very special place for us.In 2001 our son and family with our ONLY grandchildren relocated to Maui. With them so far away, we of course found it necessary to purchase our own little piece of paradise shortly thereafter! what a blessing in disguise!
Why the Owner Chose Hale Kamaole
This location can't be BEAT! We had vacationed in Maui many times over the years, (we were married on Maui), and stayed on the west and south side. We
found the south Kihei area to be very laid-back and homey. This particular property caught our eye, as it was very well-laid out, and the ocean views here are in a word, FABULOUS. And just a stone''s throw from Kamaole Beach 3.!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Across from great family Beach! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and activities. Just a short 5-10 minute drive to several championship golf courses in the area! OCEANVIEWS FROM OUR UPPER POOL!!!! which is just 20 or so steps away from our patio sliding door :)

There was never a dull moment with all of the activities Maui had to offer, and was so convenient having everything close to the condo! We were looking for a condo to stay in while we were in Maui for our wedding and honeymoon. Something that would be perfect. We spent many weeks reviewing them online, because we live in Oregon, and it's difficult to make decisions based on pictures and descriptions. The description for this condo was very detailed, very professional, and it created a fun environment as well. After contacting the owner a couple of times, we made the decision to rent. The owner has an incredible personality, that's upbeat, caring and fun, and she made the rental process very easy for us. The condo was how she describes it on the website, but even more beautiful. You see and feel the effort that has been put into it to make it feel comfortable, like a second home. We plan on returning to this island nest as many times as possible.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

It's difficult to describe how wonderful a time we had here in Maui.Your condo was just one reason for it being so.The location is phenomenal, both in regards to the nearby attractions/amenities and position in the complex. The ground floor situation is great. Our kids had a blast! You've thought of everything. We'll Be Back!

The listing description described the condo and its amenities completely and accurately and that was a relief when we arrived. The place was spotless and absolutely beautifully decorated. The location is awesome...beach across the street. Restaurants and stores closeby. Golf of course...the best courses ever! Snorkeling....go to Boss Frogs to get activity coupons and water equipment. I would HIGHLY recommend spending your valuable vacation time right here at this location. The owner was awesome to work with in making the arrangements and had wonderful suggestions for everything from car rentals to the best local dinner houses. For a real special evening do "Mama's Fish House" but it most likely needs reservations and be prepared because its a bits pricey. But hey...your in Maui, live it up!!

Great Unit!! We have stayed at Hale Kamaole Properties before... and it can be hit or miss... We will definitely be coming back to this particular unit. Owner is great to work with, easy checkin, place was clean... Also since they are a member of the COOP, if there is any problem (we didn't have any), the Owners COOP is there to help you. There was always a get together around the community grills.... a great place to meet new friends. Pool is good, but you probably could hit a baseball into the ocean (if your Babe Ruth)... Great Location... we always stay in Kihie. I really don't want to spread the word too much about this unit... I need to make sure that I can go back. -- Pat

We stayed in this condo each January-February for four years (2006-2009) and would have stayed again if our son hadn't moved back to Texas. The unit was always clean and well equipped and very economical. We really like the location across from Kam III beach. We think it is the best location in Kihei (and Maui for that matter). We used the tennis court and BBQ grills. The people who stay here (Hale Kamaole) are friendly and considerate. The beach and trails are right across the street. They are maintained by the local Rotary Club and are always in very good shape. There are many good, low cost places to eat in Kihei. The owner of this condo is prompt and very easy to work with. All in all, we would stay here again at the drop of a hat.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We so enjoy this complex!!! This unit is steps from the upper pool and the bbq on the quiet upper, south side of the complex. The unit is well stocked with beach toys, boogie boards, sand chairs, snorkle supplies, and "what to do" information. Kamaole Beach, right across the street, is a great beach for sunbathing, snorkeling, boogie boarding, picnicing, watching the sun set or a nice long walk. You can't beat the convenience of this unit Close to stores, Wailea golf, the beach walking path, the boat harbor for excursions, sand and surf. If you want to be on the Kihei side of the island, you can't go wrong here! Thank you Dollie and George for accomodating us for the past 5 years! We will definitely be back in 2011!! (AND, thank you for the no smoking rule! We appreciate that!)
