  We have stayed on this property many times over the past 10 years. We like the location because it is right across from a great beach and close enough to walk to shopping and restaurants. This was our first time in staying in a one bedroom. We were very glad that we were able to rent this unit from Dollie. She was very helpful and great to work with. The condo was clean and well maintained. The king size bed was really comfy!! We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our time.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

  My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in Maui, and we stayed in this condo. The unit looks exactly like the pictures and is in great condition. We were very pleased from the moment we walked in. The unit is well stocked - we really only needed to buy our own food. The owner arranged for a gift basket for my wife upon our arrival which was especially nice. The back sliding glass door leads to a nice patio close to the BBQ area. The patio does not get direct sun - a good thing because you can relax outside very comfortably. You only need to walk a few steps outside and look to the left to see the ocean. Other units' guests were very kind too - we had lots of fun conversations at the BBQ. The whole complex is friendly. The unit is also close to the pool. From the patio, one can see and access the BBQ and pool very easily. We arranged everything via email. The owner is very prompt and answers emails quickly. She told us to contact her if needed during our stay. There were NO hassles or stress of any kind. I highly recommend this condo. It is in great shape. The owner is very kind, honest, and easy to work with!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  It is hard to believe that our stay at your lovely condo at the Hale Kamaole is now over. I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time. #154 is very well equipped, and we didn't lack for anything while we were there. Thanks for the chocolates on our arrival too. We really appreciated the good-quality beach chairs and the beach umbrella, as I like to sit on the beach, but find the sun too hot after a while. We also appreciated the fact that there were charcoal briquets and starter left for us in the lanai closet. Other things we really liked about your place - lots of large, fluffy beach towels; plenty of sturdy pots and pans to cook with; fresh spices; a great hair dryer; a copy of "Maui for Dummies", which we used a lot; a super-comfortable bed and a very tastefully decorated unit. There are too many other pluses to mention. So once again, thanks! We had a great time and hope to be back. We can certainly recommend your unit to friends who may want a relaxing holiday in paradise.

  Aloha and Mahalo Good morning, Dollie. It is hard to believe that our stay at your lovely condo at the Hale Kamaole is now over.   We just returned from two weeks in this unit on Maui. This unit is as described and more! It is a ground level unit literally steps away from the upper pool and BBQ, an easy walk to shops and dining and across the street from Kam III Beach and Park. The beach is fantastic for swimming, boogie boarding, and snorkleing. Our grandkids love both the beach and park,a large grassy area which is a popular, communal gathering place to watch the sunsets. Grab a chair or a mat from the lanai closet which is FULL of beach/park gear. Take a beverage, a kite, a frisbee or just a partner and head down to be part of this sunset tradition. This unit is lovingly decorated with beautiful, Hawaiian art pieces throughout. It is clean, well maintained, and the kitchen is equipped with all needed products. The owners were gracious and attentive to all of our guestions. This particular unit is so peaceful and embodies our idea of Hawaii. We look forward to a return visit. cheryl and lee, Seattle

• Fantastic Vacation!!

  Mahalo, Dollie and George on an awesome 2nd stay at your wonderful little piece of Maui!! Recently renovated, nicely decorated with an amazing stocked gourmet kitchen. We ate in most nights totally enjoying sharing stories with new friends at the "Barbeque." Pool was also so close by. All the beach toys, plus coolers and beach chairs, umbrella..everything we needed!! The best location in Kihei we feel. Our last night (as on many other nights) we watched the sun set from Kam 3 beach, which is just a few minute walk...this time as the sun was about to set, two Humpback whales, not far from shore, tails slapping more than 20 times simultaneously!! So loud!!! What an amazing send off from a perfect vacation in Maui!!

  Dollie and George, Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay in your condo! Chad and I were already lucky enough to have won this trip, but had no idea what a great place we would be staying in! There was never a dull moment with all of the activities Maui had to offer, and was so convenient having everything close to the condo! December was the perfect time to go,(especially seeing the whales) and we thank you both so much for your excellent communication and guidance to make sure our trip was spectacular...which it was!   We were looking for a condo to stay in while we were in Maui for our wedding and honeymoon. Something that would be perfect. We spent many weeks reviewing them online, because we live in Oregon, and it's difficult to make decisions based on pictures and descriptions. The description for this condo was very detailed, very professional, and it created a fun environment as well. After contacting the owner a couple of times, we made the decision to rent. The owner has an incredible personality, that's upbeat, caring and fun, and she made the rental process very easy for us. The condo was how she describes it on the website, but even more beautiful. You see and feel the effort that has been put into it to make it feel comfortable, like a second home. We plan on returning to this island nest as many times as possible.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  Mahalo, our stay at your place was wonderful, the condo had everything we needed. We liked that we could walk to the beach and really enjoyed all the sunsets only a couple steps from our lanai, we loved being on the ground floor, so close to everything.   Dear Dollie & George-Thank you very much for offering such a wonderful place to stay. It truly is a home away from home.We absolutely loved all the accommodations inside, and around the condo. The location is prfr ect! This was our second trip to Maui and I know it will not be our last. Hopefully we will be able to return to your condo for another wonderful stay.
