Why the Owner Chose Henrico
It just happened, We bought it at first for my parents because it was so close to us and they could visit and still have their privacy. We upgraded it with new kitchen cabinets, carpet, etc. and fixed it up so cute that after my parents bought their new place we just wanted to hold on to it because we loved it. We shared it with friends and family. When a neighbor of ours was building their place on the lake, they stayed there on weekends. Now we would like to share it with others.
The Unique Benefits at this Mobile Home
We love wildlife ... so we have created a habitat for them, we feed the deer and even own a lot in back of the bungalow where my husband plants special deer and wildlife grass. We feed the birds and see many beautiful Blue Birds, Squirrels, rabbits, etc. We have a lot of bird feeders and bird baths. We enjoy peace and quiet, taking long walks around the neighborhood viewing the lake and wildlife. We always get compliments on the large screened in back porch. Being able to get to the stores and shops around the lake without traffic and lights. It's just nice being here.
Huge outdoor/indoor flea market. Fresh veggies/Fresh market seafood
Beautiful lakeside dining, fresh seasonal seafood/steaks, great chef.
Dog & Cat grooming, supplies, pet sitting, and more, 252-308-0608.
Owner's Map of Henrico
My husband, a commercial master electrician is an avid sportsmen and has been coming to Lake Gaston for the past 30 years. I am a registered nurse. We both loved the area and decided this is where we want to retire. We just hated to go home at the end of a weekend, so we made up our minds to live here full time. Well, a year later we bought the "bungalow" as we call it, so my parents would have a place to visit and still be independent. They loved it here so much they decided to stay here too. They purchased a larger home, so that's how the "bungalow" came to be a cozy refuge for friends and family and still is today.

My fiancé and I just had the most wonderful stay at the bungalow! We meet because of Lake Gaston 21 years ago, and lost touch, then reconnected through Facebook, so finding this place to stay was so awesome. The bungalow was so neat, clean and so peaceful. We loved how it was so centrally located on the lake, just minutes from restaurants, and the local mariners. Becky was so helpful in the rental process; seeing I waited to the last minute to make my plans. Rob was really helpful when we left for supper the first night and I locked the door with the keys inside. He was right close by with the key and a great smile. This is truly a great place to stay, and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to visit Lake Gaston. Sincerly Grady

We had a wonderful stay at the bungalow! We are a youngish group who was visiting Lake Gaston for a wedding. This rental fit the bill! The listing and pictures were perfectly accurate. The bungalow was well kept up and very clean and had all the amenities you would need for your home away from home. The screened in porch was particularly wonderful to sit out on after a long day. Of note: the owner was SO EXTREMELY helpful and nice that I would give this property a sixth star if I could!!!! Our group was travelling from many different places with many different "needs" and the owners went completely out of there way to help us out. Thank you so much!

My husband loves to fish and there are so many place to put your boat in, the closest is 3 min away. After fishing we would be able to come back to the bungalow and relax. If you wanted to make dinner at the bungalow everything you needed was right there in fully equiped kitchen, or go out to one of the many dining places. We loved sitting on the screened deck to eat/drink/or listen to nature. The beds were comfortable and clean. We will come back again and recommend it to our friends. The yard is so pretty with all the flowers and nicely kept. Becky is a real sweetheart and available if you need info or anything... Looking forward to next year. Patti & Jerry
