The house is impeccable, chic and elegant. The approach to the house, the setting, the grounds, the neighborhood and the surrounding region is the absolute picturesque English countryside experience of renowed gardens, castles and natural beauty. We toured many historic properties in the area, bought lovely fresh produce in the region and cooked in the professional style kitchen which for me was a real plus. I can't wait to return and would recommend it also to sophisticated city dwellers (Londoners or New Yorkers, etc.) who want a peaceful, elegant vacation in the English countryside.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We'll be back! This lovely cottage is more than we had hoped for. The photos are truly accurate which, if you've had experience with "self-catering", you know that the rooms will be 'staged' to make them more appealing. Not in this case. The kitchen was more that we had hoped for ( the oven did present a bit of challenge at first), and cooking was delight in such a place. The patio, the gardens, the fireplace - all made for a wonderful weeks stay. Restaurants abound both in Winchcombe and Cheltenham and Stratford in but a short drive. The Cotswolds Way is a wonderful place to hike.....a week is not enough time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your praise and we are so glad your stay was a pleasure. We hope your travels bring you to the Cotswolds again one day.

This cottage is even better than its description and the pictures. We had a wonderful timing staying in this lovely cottage and it's location was perfect as well. Although we have been to the Cotswolds before we saw many new things that we hadn't previously. There is so much to do in this area and this cottage is so perfect that you really must take advantage of it. We are definitely hoping that we can go back again soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you for your compliments and I am so delighted your stay was a pleasure for you. I look forward to your return!
