Nestled within redwood, oak, olive and walnut trees, the property's extensive gardens include a large lavender field, a chef’s garden, roses, and a meditative labyrinth. During your stay, enjoy a game of bocce with friends, or host a pizza party using the newly built outdoor wood-fired oven.
As you enter the main house, the dark walnut plank floors and cream colored walls provide a perfect back drop for original art and elegant furnishings. The formal dining room accommodates 20 guests for a lavish dinner or can be used as a boardroom. The large marble fireplace and hand-wrought chandeliers add warmth and elegance. Opposite the dining room, the living room has hand carved beams, a grand piano and comfortable seating where guests can enjoy a glowing fire.
The chef’s kitchen offers a butler’s pantry and separate baking center as well as an oversized butcher block island and a built-in eating nook. Steps from the kitchen is a 15 seat high-definition theater with luxurious leather reclining seats. The entire house is equipped with a home automation system which allows for easy control of music and lighting.
The spectacular 2,000 square foot master suite features a California king bed, oversized steam shower, Jacuzzi tub with flat screen TV, sitting room and an en-suite kitchenette. Each guest room has a queen size bed and its own outdoor access to a patio or deck overlooking breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains.
Shaded by large oaks, the 38 x 26 foot tiled pool and secluded 10 person spa are perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing with family and friends. The pool house is equipped with a state-of-the-art kitchen, steam shower, sauna, gym, billiard, and great room.

I feel as though I have been dropped into a movie. As I write this outdoors sitting in front of a blazing fire, I feel the gentle chill of a California Napa morning on my arms. The fog rolls in over vineyards that stretch forever in every direction from this idyllic porch where I write. Mt. Veeder to my left is topped with a shaggy foggy cloud that spans her crown. To my right stretches Calistoga and her vines heavy with grapes anticipating harvest. Knowing when expectations are sky high, many times reality does not meet the vision, I tried to prepare myself for the staus quo. However, as we arrived and rushed into the great hall, we realized that nothing our minds could have imagined could have prepared us for this three acre slice of heaven set down in Napa Valley. Feeling as though we have been transported to Tuscany, our first evening here was surreal. Almost as in a cloud of glorious wonder, we greeted our friends as they arrived from all over America. Laughter filled the air continuously as we hugged and welcomed "Italian" style. Tenstone Estate is beyond words. Award-winning Chef Sarah is our chef and she promptly wowed us with a poolside banquet of split pea chowder and grilled tenderloin over green salad topped with his homemade dressing that we watched her create. This was a tremendous culinary learning as well as tasting experience. The Cakebread Syrah was indeed the perfect complement to the tenderloin, just as our guide Lance told us it would be. We fell into luxurious beds that my wife says "feel like marshmallows". Plush duvets, feather pillows, high ceilings and lavender soaps graced our paths as we drifted to a dreamy sleep.
