This Property is amazing. This was built as a rich persons summer home. But with the economy, I decided to rent it. I built it to be dreamy. It is close to Gunterville Dam, the bat caves, the YMCA camp and the fireworks for 4th of July. It is roughly 8 miles to the center of Downtown Gunterville.
On the inside:
The floor plan is a Southern Living plan. It will sleep 10. But can accommodate more with air mattresses if needed. It is open and spacious. It has authentic pine plank flooring. Wood walls. A true stone mason fireplace. The ceilings are high and vaulted in every bedroom and the great room.
The kitchen is a remembrance of days of old. A natural wood counter top and antique fire clay sink.
The master Bedroom has been set up as a "honeymoon suite" A canopy bed embraces the romantic vibe. The master bathroom, particularly the shower, is tranquil. It has a natural stone floor and slate walls. Jacuzzi tub, etc
The two other bedrooms are awesome for kids. One bedroom has a ladder that takes you to a loft attic. I'll have two twin beds in this area. The other bedroom has a unique built in "window bed" (see pics)
On the outside:
The landscape is surreal as the pics will display. If you want a place to take your kids that feels like summer camp, this is it! If you want secluded, this is it! If you want a Lake house with great lake views, this is it! If you want Bon fires and a spacious environment, this is it! If you want fishing, parties, weddings, skiing, catering, this is it!!!
This is what you see at the movies! Seriously! Every family movie where they go to camp! If you want that environment, Look no farther! It is luring and tranquil. Peaceful! Wildlife extravaganza! Fisherman's paradise.
It has 320' feet of shoreline and almost 2 acres of land. Plenty of parking.
This property has a full boathouse with 2 slips and a sundeck for your use. It also has an immaculate 1000 sq Pavilion in the water. Great for parties, family reunions, and Weddings. We have a stone fire pit for roasting marsh mellows and keeping the chill off.
We will cater. We can provide a cook and a cooker for outdoor occasions.
If you find a more romantic/family lake property to rent on Gunterville Lake, I'll dance at your wedding.
