Accommodations:  House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)

Once you pull up to the home, you will know you are in paradise. The houses in the neighborhood are spread out and you are in a quiet and peaceful setting. The house is not directly on the lake and there is no lake view but the property has lake access and it's own boat dock. A nice stroll down through the woods will get you to the lake. We are located in a cove and lake traffic is at a minimum. There is a great dock to swim and fish off of.

The house was built 2 years ago by the owners. Extra care was put in to make sure everything met their standards. There is tile floor and crown molding throughout the house. Granite counter tops and custom cabinets in the kitchen stand out once you enter the home. The master bedroom & second bedroom have queen size beds. The third room has a bunk bed for the kids with a double bed on the bottom & twin bed on the top. The house is great to accommodate a family of 4-5.

Step outside and use the gas grill to cook burgers or the fish you just caught for dinner. Enjoy your dinner outside on the patio furniture, and, for desert, you can roast marshmallows in the fire pit. There's also a hammock set up in the shade of the woods where you can take a mid-day nap. There's also a great selection of family board games for entertainment. We know you will have a wonderful time and a very relaxing weekend for a great price.


The house is less than 2 hours from Atlanta and 5 minutes from downtown Hartwell. Once you get off the highway, you have a 15 minute drive through the countryside. The town of Hartwell has many stores and shops for just about anything you need. There are many restaurants, a Home Depot, a Super Walmart and an Ingles Grocery.

  • We rented this house earlier this month and had an amazing time. It is very easy to get to from Atlanta. The house is wonderfully decorated and very clean. Having two bathrooms was great and the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a relaxing lake vacation!

  • I have stayed at this house twice now and had a great stay both trips. I recently went up to Lake Hartwell and rented the house with a group of friends (total of 5 of us). It was probably one of the most relaxing weekends I have had in a very long time. We hung out on the dock all day, listened to music, enjoyed the very peaceful environment (maybe only saw 1-2 boats all day!). Later, we grilled out, ate on the patio, made a bonfire, roasted marshmellows and enjoyed a movie from the movie library late that night. I am looking forward to making this an annual tradition, and would recommend this cozy house to anyone who is looking to get away from the hustle and bustle!
