Why the Owner Chose Jaco
We chose to build our vacation dream home in Jaco because Jaco Beach is the most convenient beach in Costa Rica. You can walk the beautiful curved beach of Jaco and at the South end of the beach begins the rainforest where you can continue to hike and experience tropical wildlife and beautiful views of the coastline. Also a short walk from our vacation rental is the quaint town of Jaco with many charming cafes and shops. The weather , the swimming, the ocean and rainforest are always beautiful and welcoming as are the local Costa Rican people.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our property, Sonidos Del Mar is unique in that the property is a completely private tropical paradise while being located only steps from the beach and a short walk to downtown Jaco. Directly on the property you'll have your own private tiled swimming pool with waterfall and tropical gardens and wildlife that weave in between a running stream.

We originally came to Costa Rica over a dozen years ago for a vacation. We loved it so much that we ended up building our dream home here and moving to Costa Rica! It's truly a paradise.

We had the chance to stay at Sonidos del Mar and we have rented from VRBO multiple times. This was our best experience yet. They have a care taker named Pierre who will stop by and help with whatever you need, i.e. the wireless was down so he brought the cable guy over to fix it, and the pool is great. We were traveling with two small kids and the space is ample for a family, if you need more there is a two bedroom guest house attached that you can rent as well. We saw iguanas, tucans, Costa Rican Squirrel looking animals, butterflies in the morning, the landscaping makes it feel like your own jungle paradise just steps from the beach. If you like to dirt bike, go to the Motoshop in town and talk to Carlos about a private dirt bike tour. Best ride I've ever been on. We stayed 7 nights and it was great. I would highly recommend this location.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
