Watch the bald eagles fish, the beaver makes a 7pm trip by the house every day, often river otters are spotted playing, the great blue herons fly over, many water birds and shore birds, deer may come by to munch on the roses and lilies, sit under the canopy of stars and enjoy smores around the bonfire or relax in the hot tub at the rivers edge. One of a kind getaway with privacy, tranquility and lots of outdoor activities.

The National Park Shuttle Bus takes visitors to hiking trailheads and on tours of the lower valley including the one-room school house and the Buckner Homestead built in 1898. Stehekin has been a tourist destination for over l00 years because of its incredible beauty and history. The Ranch offers buffet style home cooking featuring. 30ft log tables and sawdust floor and cowboy coffee. The Valley Bakery has been in Martha Stewart Living magazine and Stehekin has been featured in National Geographic several times. The most often heard comment from guests is that the "peace and window on Nature" exceeds their expectations.
