Walk to the restaurants by the harbor or on Main Street, take a day trip to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket or step across the street to a small beach by the harbor or drop your fishing line in. Put your boat in the water at a public boat slip at the intersection of Old Harbor Rd. & Bay Shore Rd. 2 minutes walk from the house or walk 5 minutes to the beautiful Veteran's Beach with a small stream adjacent to it that is ideal for small children to catch some crabs or small fish .
