LOOKING FOR THAT PERFECT GETAWAY. Here it is...the best water on the Toccoa River, from white water shoals to 5' fishing holes on a very wide part of the river. Over 170' of river frontage less than 10 minutes from the charming town of McCaysville. Our cabin is situated on a very private and wooded lot. Across the river you'll find absolutely nothing but beautiful hardwoods and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad. You'll love our easy access to the river. Steps led directly to the water from our gazebo equipped with a swing and chairs. The fishing is great! Kids will love the rapids for tubing and swimming. The river views are immaculate! Relax in our jacuzzi that sits right on the back porch and can also be accessed directly from the master bedroom patio doors.
Our family chose this property as our 2nd home for many reasons, but one of our most favorite things is the relaxing sounds of the river. When you pull up in the yard, you hear rushing waters and immediately see the river. Our kids love walking up to the shoals and floating back down to our own private beach like area where they have their favorite hang-out rock. An additional yard swing is situated next to our fire pit for pure enjoyment!
Horseshoe Bend Park is just about 20 minutes down the river if they want a little further ride or many other options for longer trips. There's plenty to do in these North Georgia Mountains. Try visiting our website for activities and links. If you want to experience a place you'll want to visit time and time again, please come and see what I'm talking about! We have been up and down the Toccoa River and you will not find a place more beautiful than right in our back yard and our guest agree. We are on a wider part of the river that is breath taking.
Did I mention the house has all new furniture, linens, kitchen tools, and more. A grocery store is just 5-8 minutes away in McCaysville. You will not want to leave once you get here. Come with stress, leave relaxed and revived! Can't wait for you to experience what our other guest have come to love so make your reservation today!!

Why the Owner Chose Blue Ridge
A very private gated community and perfect location. Close to town but completely surrounded by mountains for added privacy. The rushing water is great and so clear and refreshing. Open the windows and enjoy the rushing waters noise. A log home that is the perfect size. All rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The yard both front and back are very level and shady. We love this area of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Swimming, canoeing, tubings, fishing, hiking relaxing in the jacuzzi. Just minutes from Lake Blue Ridge that offers boating, skiing, tubing, etc. Also plenty of shops from McCaysville, Murphy, NC, Blue Ridge to name a few. Be sure to visit the amazing waterfalls nearby. White water rafting is just minutes away as well.

The pictures in this website do not do this cabin justice! This is a very spacious and beautifully decorated river retreat! Immaculate! The front yard (river side) is wonderful. The fire pit and gazebo are added extras! We would really love to come back...soon! This is a great place to bring a family or even host a crazy ladies' weekend! And, if you're really lucky, you too might get a visit from Scooter!!!!!!
Owner response:Thank you for the kind words regarding our cabin. We are so blessed to have this wonderful property and to have great guest like you. We look forward to another visit from you anytime you can. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. It was beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. It was much more than we expected. The backyard is amazing with the river right there. We enjoyed fishing and just siting out there at the gazebo. The house has beautiful fixtures and furnishings. It was too cold to get in the river but i am sure during the summer it would be great to use the floats to float in the river. We enjoyed seeing the train pass on the other side of the river. We had a great weekend. Thanks!!!!!

Just wanted to let you know that we fell in love with the cabin and the location. We have stayed in several in the area some of them in the mountains (which we love also) but don't like the roads getting to them. We loved the layout it was perfect for our sleeping arrangements and the yard was nice and level for the grandsons to play. Of course the weather didn't cooperate with us too much on Saturday but still had a good time. Sorry to run on just wanted you to know that if its available at the times we can get back that way we think we have found the perfect one we have been looking for. Thanks so much!

I like to come to his area for rest and relaxation often. This is one of the best places my family and I have stayed. The location was great. We had the Toccoa River in our back yard, perfect for fishing and tubing. The back yard was nice and big for the kids to romp and play. We were not secluded, but it was very private, even though we could watch the folks tubing and kayaking from our Gazebo. Our driveway was located just a few feet from the main pavement and even though we felt we were in a remote area, a grocery store was just about 3 miles away as well as restaurants and shopping. The house was very well decorated, comfortable with upto date furnishings and a very well stocked kitchen. The 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths were plenty of space for the 4 adults and 2 children in our party. The technoology was great, from the Wi-Fi to the sat. TV's in the den and bedrooms. It had something for all of us. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful, truly R & R vacation spot.. The owners were very helpful. We are planning to go back and take in the Ocoee rafting as it is only about a 20 minute drive.

We came to this area to experience the ocoee whitewater rafting experience and chose this home due its secluded location on the Taccoa River. We have grown up experiencing the crystal clear rivers of southern missouri and found The Toccoa River to be just as enjoyable When the rivers was down we caught rainbow trout. The only complaint was the river was running hard most of the time we were there so were not allowed to just sit in the river and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the rafting experience as well as the comforts of this home. The location was just as advertised as was the home itself. The photos on the website accurately reflect the home. Donna answered all my questions and we loved having the use of their inner tubes to float the river. The home was clean and well maintained. We have talked about this home and the experience with our friends and if they were to come to the area I would highly recommend this home. It was exaclty what we were looking for and would not hesitate returning. Thanks for everything Donna. We had a great time.

We DID have a great stay in your house! We hope to be able to return again and we have already told many others about your wonderful home away from home. I really appreciate all the attention to detail. You will always have return renters because everything is so much better than even the pictures show.
