Beautifully remodeled cabin in Blue Lake Springs. Enjoy a relaxing weekend or come up for a week long vacation in the woods. We have installed a beautiful and grand set of wood trimmed doors and windows for a very light and bright great room, dining and kitchen area.
Two bedrooms plus loft and two full bathrooms, roughly 1500 square feet. Cabin has two king and two sets of bunk beds and comfortably sleeps 8 people. DirecTV satellite TV with DVR, and Wifi High-Speed cable Internet. Cabin has three TV's (all with VCR/DVD players), plus board games, books, DVD movies and kids toys. Brand new furnace, wood stove and stainless steel kitchen appliances. Flat panel HD TV and home theater setup in family room with surround sound. Home Automation system with menu driven remote allows for easy control of all Audio/Video functions.
The kitchen is equipped with most everything you will need including all new stainless steel appliances. Cabin has a high-capacity front loading washer and dryer for your convenience. Both bathroom were remodeled and include heated fog-less mirrors, ultra-quiet vent fans, and heated towel bars.
NOTE: Linens and towels are not provided. Guests will need to bring their own sheets and towels. All beds have pillows, blankets and comforter.

Blue Lake Springs is only a 30 minute drive from Bear Valley Ski area for winter fun.

the cabin was wonderful, the amenities fabu, loved the tv and surround sound, all new stuff, plenty of room, nice fireplace and lots of fresh cut wood, great light, wonderful location (20ish minutes from Bear Valley ski resort), near food and other needs. I rate it a great retreat site. easy three hour ride from silicon valley, located in a beautiful neighborhood....We will look to go back in summer :)

We had the opportunity to stay a couple of nights at the Lazy Bear Lodge, and the entire family really enjoyed it! The cabin is very nicely equiped and spacious. WiFi, mutliple TVs and DVD players as advertised, so the kids could separate and watch what they wanted; good Satellite TV. Lots of stuff to do locally, from skiing, to sledding, to exploring caves and mines. Even fun shopping areas nearby. Loved sledding on the nearby golf course fairways! Fully equiped kitchen, nice BBQ on the deck. Very comfortable beds, plenty of room to really spread out. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin!
