Great Beach !! Perfect home !

We stayed at this property for a small office getaway- 4 couples. The location is so close to Chicago and its is amazing how you can mistake it for Florida when you are sitting on the beach! The home was very well appointed. Very roomy! So many different areas in the house and outside - (patio, balcony, sun room, deck, beach) that we never felt like we were too crowded. The huge modern kitchen had everything we could have imagined needing. Cooking on the grill was the way to go! Nice grocery stores! So if peaceful sunrises, sand in your toes, bonfires on the beach, amazing sunsets, the sounds of gentle waves, grilling and chilling with friends and family are what you are looking for, this is a perfect home~ oh, and we were visited each early morning on the beach by at least a dozen deer who played and ran along the beach, right in front of us! We had a wonderful time here~ Thank you !!

Great Location For Family Gatherings

Our family gathered at Playa Del Casa for the third consecutive year and we continue to enjoy each day/week we gather there. It's a wonderful location and home for our family reunion. Our family loves the accomodations, cleanliness and multiple nearby attractions. Mia is on top of any questions we may have and is very responsive. Last year, we were able to play the nearby private golf course and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However, the one feature that we all enjoy most is the private beach where the family spends the majority of the day. There are seldom other people on the beach which gives us the sense that it is all ours! In terms of comfort, privacy, things to do, etc. I suspect most families will find Mia's beach home to be a great vacation investment!

This was a perfect place for our adult-only family reunion. The beds were comfortable and the open kitchen, living room, dining room area was a great gathering spot. We enjoyed the views of the lake from the dining room as well as the beautiful views from the beach table and the front porch. The skylit extra room was a welcome spot to read or chat. We enjoyed the beautiful beach, as well. If the opportunity comes, we would rent Playa Casa Longbeach again.

Great House in a Perfect Location!

We loved the kitchen and family room area which was big enough for family meals and fun. The view from the deck is wonderful and we spent most evenings watching the sun set. My kids loved the game room and bunk beds. Beautiful private beach, great location and easy access to Al's Grocery store. Very clean and well kept which was a bonus!

Great for family gatherings

We have rented this house the past two summers and find it to be the perfect spot to gather and spend time as a family. The house is clean, updated, has a fully equiped kitchen and great views of the lake. We also love the location. There are tennis courts down the street, outlet mall shopping nearby, great resturants and Al's supermarket close by. Whether we feel like shopping, cooking in, eating out, reading a book on the terrace, hanging out on the private beach, or playing table tennis in the basement, this place offers it all. We hope to return for many summers to come. Our only wish is that this place allowed for well-behaved small dogs.

My family has rented this house for most of the summer for the last 3 years and the only reason we have stopped is that we bought a house down the street... We love this rental - the location, the house, and the owner's attitude and hospitality... We felt very at home and couldn't have asked for a cleaner, lovelier, and better equipped house to spend time with family and friends. Who ever rents this house will feel very lucky to be spending time there!

Such a beautiful home...I walked in and was immediately impressed...then I walked upstairs to the main floor and kitchen...AWESOME! Updated kitchen with everything you need to cook any meal you want. Very well kept & extremly clean! The only problem we had was that the 4th bedroom was not really a "bedroom"....we have a 7 yr old and he slept down there. It is on the bottom floor and there is no door to the "bedroom"...it is right at the end of the stairs that lead upstairs. So when it was bedtime for him, but not the adults, he could hear everything we were saying. All in all though we had an amazing time and I highly recommend this house! I would go back there time and time again!!!! Mia was also extremley easy to talk to and very friendly! Oh yeah, Panini Panini (a small sandwich shop) was DELICIOUS!! We ate lunch there and had to go back the next day because it was so good!!! Amy O.

My family has been here several times now, only a few days at a time, but could certainly be comfortable on a longer vacation also..truely an awesome sunset. Modern and updated and super clean...private deck on the beach is great to picnic on..and we like to cook(nice grocery is close), so the kitchen and outdoor grills are a real plus... the foosball and ping pong are great to have for the kids. Highly recommended from our point of view. The zoo in Michigan City is fun and only a short drive away, our daughter loved it. Fun place to relax.

This is our 3rd year renting this terrific beach house - we love everything about it. . . It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious, and is equipped with everything you could need or want. It is a very easy house to entertain lots of friends in, but cozy enough to enjoy with just the family. The views from the house and front deck are great. The beach is right across the street and the private deck with grill is a wonderful place to eat and watch the sun set. The beach is gorgeous and quiet. If you can bring yourself to leave this perfect beach, there are lots of things to do in the area - blueberry picking, golf, antiquing in SW Michigan, 18 screen movie theater in town, casino, tennis, zoo, outlet mall, along with fun and varied restaurants. My family and I give this vacation home, and the Michigan City area, our highest recommendation!

Wonderful Vacation Spot

We spent our 4th of July weekend at this house and it was absolutely perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything better. It had everything we needed, it was steps to the beach, and we even had the 4th of July parade pass by right in front of the house. Not to mention that we could see the fireworks from both sides of the house. It's the perfect house for a beach getaway. We look forward to staying there again! I would recommend this house time and time again.

great vacation

Did not appreciate how great a beach there was, so close to the city. Beautiful, quiet beach, great house with all the amenities. Short drive to reach movies, restaurants, shopping, water park, horse riding, Indiana Dunes. Just a great place to come and stay for a week or two and forget the outside world.
