The apartment was clean and information well provided. Although entering down a back alley in the evening is a little apprehensive. Close to the bus and train station. Disadvantage if you're a light sleeper as transit and trains run all night. Trastevere is a lovely historic part of Rome. Not recommended after dark. Made apparent by the amount of police and sirens heard and seen on any given evening. Constructioin right outside the apartment is underway! Owners may not maybe aware of this? The apartment is showing its age and I feel that this should be reflected in the cost. I would reccomend a maximum of a couple of nights staying here. Appreciated the transportation provided to and from train and airport. #3 Bus and #8 streetcar are only a block away and will take you to Old Rome #8 Streetcar and #64 Bus will take you to Vatican City. Transit is regular and cheap.
Owner response:The apartment is located in a historic building so if wanted to spend your holiday in a modern building should not choose the old Trastevere area and popular where you live the real Rome. Located in Rome's characteristic Trastevere neighbourhood along historic Viale Trastevere offers an oasis of peace and tranquility within a bustling community which comes to life each Sunday morning when it plays host to the popular Porta Portese flea market, and after dark when it awakens to an exciting Roman nightlife which has long been the inspiration for poets and artists. For area silent had to go in the periphery and not in the historical center of Rome: The works in the vicinity are the archaeological excavations for the construction of a museum of artifacts of ancient Rome (there are in every corner of Rome for that I am not responsible ) that do not cause any discomfort and of whose Owners not is aware of this .. I work with this apartment from 10 years and I never had problems with anyone Such. I am delighted to be Able to offer a comfortable and beautiful ambiance to my guests. Every amenity and comfort is well thought out and we make sure the apartment is clean and That in excellent condition at all times As you can see from other reviews all of our guests were satisfied with the environment comfortable and location of the apartment. and Were happy to spend the holiday in my apartment

The apartment was just as billed, the perfect size for us and in a great location. The was very professional and helpful. The driver from the airport was also really helpful. Being able to handle booking it on the phone with some one in the us Without all the stress of an international call made it all the better, plus your packet of information helped us plan. It was educational, great exercise (all that walking!) and lots of fun. I really can not imagine a better family vacation and this apartment made it all possible. We also loved shopping the local markets and cooking a bit at home; breakfasts each day at the apartment saved us a bundle and the sweet Italian man at the market made it so enjoyable! We will recommend you to everyone.
Owner response:thanks and I look forward to having you back some time soon

We have just returned from another fantastic holiday in Rome which was made extra special by our choice of the apartment in Trastevere. Our apartment was a good size and after a long day of sight-seeing it was always great to come back to a clean and tidy apartment with fresh linen and towels provided every day. The apartment is excellently located in the vibrant district of Trastevere where there are a wealth of good places to eat. You can be in the city centre in no time at all, to see all the sights or enjoy a drink down by the river at night. We purchased weekly travel tickets (CIS) for 16 euros each, which allow unlimited use of the trams, buses and trains within the city centre. We very much enjoyed the apartment its little touches . We have stayed in a number of Italian hotels and one thing that sets this apartament from so many is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We would like to thank all the staff, but in particular Roman and the owner for all they did to help make our stay so enjoyable. All in all, we had a wonderful time in the marvellous city of Rome and we owe a large amount of that to the apartment and we would definitely recommend a stay in this house
Owner response:thank you very much for review and that you enjoyed stay in the apartment. Thank you for choosing my property for your recent vacation.a. Thank you for your support and I look forward to having you back some time soon.

We stayed here from from 3 to 7 July 2011 and couldn't have asked for a better place. The apartment was clean, in a great location and had everything we needed. It was spacious, well decorated, and the beds and couches were great after a long day of walking through Rome. We felt at home within a few hours of being there. Plus, there was satellite TV (with some channels in English!) and an Internet connection. All in all, the apartment really was true to the pictures and descriptions online. So, rest assured you'll get what you're expecting. As an additional perk, the apartment location really has the best of both worlds -- it's close enough to the city center but not overrun by tourists and tourist traps. The neighborhood was safe and there were plenty of shops within walking distance. Trastevere Station was just a few blocks away. We were able to get to pretty much everything we wanted to see within a few minutes and the commute from the airport was cheap and easy.

Spent two days in June with my family here in 2011 before going north. The apartment was comfortable, clean and elegant. The staff, Their Professionalism, friendliness and knowledge was above & beyond. Conveniently Situated in the historic center of Rome. All points of tourist interest are Within A Few Minutes, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Capitoline Hill, Roman Forum, Piazza del Popolo, Circus Maximus, Imperial Forum, near Campo de 'Fiori, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, St. Peter Vatican etc.. ,,,,, etc. the car is not Necessary and with a short walk to get to the famous places of Rome historical center. Very personable, willing to help with Any inquiry That we had. Thanks for your restaurant recommendation! Looking forward to coming back.

The apartment is adequately equipped and very clean. The neighbourhood is quiet at night. We were pleased with our stay and would recommend the apartment for other budget conscious travelers. The location is handy to the local train station where bus and tram connections also arrive. Excellent for travelers without vehicles. We stayed with our family of four and the space sufficed.

For a short break in Rome this apartment proved ideal. It consists of 2 rooms plus a bathroom, as advertised, and comfortably held the 4 of us. Air conditioning was needed as it was hot for early June, the rooms kept cool and the beds were comfortable. The apartment, including bed linen and towels, was very clean and tidy. A brisk half hour walk brings you to central Rome but public transport is excellent if you prefer. We didn't have time to explore Trastevere, focusing on the attractions of ancient Rome, which certainly didn't disappoint. The owner is very helpful and will arrange transport from the airport if needed. We recommend the property as a reasonably priced base to explore the city.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience in this apartment. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is in a good location that is close to stores, lines of transportation, a wonderful farmer's market on Sunday, and restaurants. We felt very safe in this apartment, and would recommend it to others. It is perfect for a couple. In addition, the neighbors are very nice.

The accomodation was exactly as described. The owner organised transport as we arrived at about midnight. We were also shown around the flat at that time on a Sunday night, thank you. There was plenty of coffee etc. for breakfast for the whole stay. Transport into the centre was a few minutes walk and the trams appeared quite regularly. There is a fresh fruit and vegetable market outside every day, so you didn't have far to go for milk etc. in the morning. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the accomodation

The apartment was exactly as we expected, and then some. To begin, there was excellent communication every step of the way - even text messaging when we arrived early got an instant response and they were able to meet us early. We were pleasantly surprised to see how immaculately clean it was and just the right amount of space for two young women. We were met on a rainy day, shown around the apartment and given all the instructions we needed. It is important to note - this apartment is not in the tourist area, this is real Rome. It is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk into the heart of things. There is a bus/train/tram station just next door that provided fantastic transportation on the rainy days. Unfortunately, we didn't see the market that everyone mentioned was not there, and there is some serious construction going on right in front of the building that really took away from the charm of the area. But there are a number of grocery stores all around that had everything we'd need. There is a huge binder of tourist information in the apartment that gave us so much detail on getting around and seeing the sights! There was coffee, biscuits, jelly, milk and other basics well stocked for us. It was fantastic to be able to cook our own dinners. And we even did a little laundry! All in all it was a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this apartment!! Just take note that it is located outside of the center of Rome and away from the real tourist area. But we were glad to get out of the tourist area and enjoyed our walk. Grazie!
Owner response:Sara thanks for your comment Please note that the apartment is situated in the heart of the historical Rome on Viale Trastevere and occupies a quiet corner animated on Sunday with its famous flea market, Porta Portese and at night for the renowned famous Roman nights that have always inspired poets and artists. Enjoys an elite position, thanks to its proximity to the public means of transportation that allow you to reach within in minutes the most favorite landmarks of Rome, like; Coliseum, Piazza Navona, St. Peter's Square, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Campo dè Fiori and the most beautiful and renowned sites of Rome. thanks

"I would like to confirm with pleasure that the apartment has fully met our expectations. It is exactly what a family with a child would need for its stay in Rome. It is an excellent location - very pleasant, historic area, however not crowded with tourists, we would definitely recommend the district in comparison with what we have seen in other parts of the historical center. The owner, is very kind, helpful .

We have been very happy with the standard of accommodation provided. . In few minutes of walk you arrive to the old Trastevere and to the famous places of the historical centre. The location is very convenient to buses and trams. Even if the flat is close to to shopping area that provides you with supermarkets, shops, daily fruit and veg market, typical Roman restaurants, the area is very quiet and safe at night. "
