Dream come true... Left on 10/21/2010 for a stay in March 2010 Went to Huatulco with a few girlfriends for a week long getaway. We were absolutely blown away by the great view, accommodating staff, and luxurious space we lived in. Extremely well furnished, gorgeously landscaped grounds. Pool, beach, lounging area, spas, and park...all right there. The staff was extremely helpful in helping organize all activities- boat tours, waterfall tour, snorkeling. Very safe- guard at all times, gated community!! A definite recommendation to all- families, couples, friends. Will be returning soon.

We had heard about Huatulco for years and finally decided it was time to experience it. Great move! The condo was so large and comfortable and we used all of it. Each morning we were treated to fabulous sunrises (yes, it's on the west coast but the sun rises over the water there) and lots of bird watching. The beach was right in front of us and the unit also overlooks the beautiful pool. We rented a car although wouldn't again because the taxis are plentiful and affordable. The town of La Cru

Beautiful Vacation and Gorgeous Condo

My family has taken a trip to Mexico every year for the past 5 years. This time, we wanted to try something different instead of Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. We have done resorts, time shares, etc and enjoy "doing our own thing" so we wanted to try a vacation rental. The whole trip was a great experience. I kept putting off a review but always knew I had to do one. First off, while the whole experience was enjoyable, I need to say THANK YOU to Birgit for her kindness. I really cannot express how helpful she was as a host. Not only was everything as described in the listing but she truly went above and beyond for my family. The pictures explain the beauty of both Huatulco and her property so let me list all that she did for us. First, my mother-in-law joins us on vacation. Birgit made sure there was an extra bed for us in the condo since we expressed how much we liked the unit. Second, the staff at Sueno del Mar was familiar with our names and greeted us like we were regulars. Third, once we arrived, there was a pre-paid cell phone and many recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Perhaps the best example of "going the extra mile" happened after we left. My wife left her jacket in the closet. Since we and Birgit live within a couple of hours from eachother back in Michigan, she stayed in touch with me and brought the coat back after her next trip down there. Very thoughtful. The unit was super clean and as advertised. It was more beautiful in person. The town of La Crucecita was very quaint and the people were very friendly. There are no night clubs or raucous party scenes (a good thing by our account!) and it is an area that is NOT overrun by tourists. The weather is quite warm in late April (90s and high humidity) but still very beautiful. If you go, STAY HERE and you won't regret it. There are plenty of restaurants but we enjoyed going out to catch sailfish and mahi mahi and cooking it at the barbeque. Also, do a private boat tour of the bays....very fun! On our last day, we took a taxi past Tangolunda down to Bahia Conejos area. There is a small road to a local outdoor market (it was closed when we go there). The road dead ends into a cul-de-sac at the beach with huge waves. From the car, as you approach the end of the road, there are two buildings. The stone restaurant on your right is GREAT. The mother/daughter owners were so sweet and the food was delish. A true hidden gem. Go...you won't regret it.

Return trip to paradise - The Dreams - Los Suenos

We just return from our 2nd. trip to paradise. Last time we stayed in the owner's other condo in the same building, Casa Anita, and now we very much enjoyed the very spacious penthouse Los Suenos with breathtaking views of the ocean and the mountains. If you like luxury you are in the right place. Marble floors, top notch gourmet kitchen, quality brand appliances, wine fridge and bar, wonderful art work from around the world, tasteful and comfortable furniture. We spend many hours just enjoying the beautiful gardens and the large pool. The sound of the waterfall into the pool, the birds, the crashing of the ocean wave all sounds of paradise and the smell of the tropical flowerns and trees very soothing. The beach is outside your front door. There are a few beach clubs with restaurants for a quick meal and a cold drink. We often cooked our dinner on the BBQ at a lovely sitting area overlooking parks, beach and ocean. Very peaceful! The walk to the supermarket and restaurants is very pleasant passing through parks and closeby. We felt extremely safe in the beautiful town and the people are friendly and welcoming. The condo manager helped with everything we needed, arrange tours, book a boat trip, etc. Our favorite spot was the roof top terrace with the hammock and the sitting areas. Perfect spot for our morning coffee, but even better for a glass of wine. There are a few yoga studios in town, very important for all the yogis and yoginis out there. Let's hope that the future will bring us another return trip to Los Suenos or Casa Anita

Fuer alle anspruchsvollen Reisenden moechten wir Los Suenos Penthouse in Huatulco empfehlen. Das Penthouse bietet jeden Komfort, vom Weinkuehlschrank, Aufzug bis unglaublicher Aussicht uber das Meer und die Berge von der privaten Dachterrasse. Der Strand liegt direkt vor der Haustuere und man kommt bequem zu Fuss zum Einkaufen, Restaurants, Boutiquen, etc. Es ist sehr sicher und das Personal stellt 24 Stunden am Tag sicher, dass es an nichts fehlt. Die Gartenanlagen laden zu einem Spaziergang ein und der grosse Pool bietet eine willkommende Abkuehlung. Ein Grill steht zur Verfuegung. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und grosszuegig Platz ist verhanden. Das Penthouse ist in bester Verfassung mit Flachbildschirm, DCD, CD, Ipod, Wi-Fi, alles auf dem neusten STand. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren naechsten Besuch

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous Los Suenos

After visiting Huatulco for many years we finally found the perfect penthouse in a top location. Los Suenos penthouse offers every convenience you could ask for, WI FI in the penthouse and pool areas, SKY TV, stereos, gourmet designer kitchen. Contemporary furniture & colorful unique artwork gives it that more than special touch. It is all topped by the breathtaking view over the Pacific ocean as well as the Sierra Madre Mountains. Super spacious-everything is bright and open with very high ceilings, sunlight in every room. Chahue, with two amazing beach clubs, is right in front of your door step, supermarkets are within a SHORT walking distance, and many great restaurants are easily accessible. Stop looking, it does not get better, we are coming back to celebrate a very special family occasion in thisbeautiful place.

Los Suenos "The Dreams" that became reality

After many vacations in Mexico we finally arrived in Huatulco for the first time and what a pleasant surprise. We were welcomed by a friendly driver that our host had sent to the more than unique Huatulco airport, oversized palapas instead of concrete buildings. After a 15 minutes drive we arrived at our penthouse Los Suenos- WOW The condo complex looked like a palace with a very inviting portal which we passed and arrived in paradise. The gardens and walks, fountains and pools are beautiful and inviting. The elevator brings you right to the penthouse Los Suenos, but it is great exercise to walk up to the 4.th floor stopping at all floors admiring the views over the ocean and mountains. Los Suenos was more beautiful than expecxted. The penthouse is very spacious, high open ceilings, marble floors, wide open rooms leading to balconies overlooking the beach, bay and ocean. You can hear the rolling waves from every room. The panoramic view over the Sierra Madre Mountains was spectacular and we enjoyed our morning coffees watching the mountains come alive with the sunlight. every room has custom designed furniture, artwork and excellent quality. Eventhough we had not planned on cooking many meals, once we saw the kitchen, we changed our minds. Everything modern, high quality, stainless steel appliances and the kitchen was fully equipped to cook any meal. Some evenings we used the BBQ area near the pool for a relaxed time. Internet connection were no problem in the penthouse as well as pool and garden areas. SKY TV allowed us to watch channels in 3 languages. We could use our I-Pods. A stereo system was provided. What a hassle free experience, hair dryer, iron, washer, dryer, you name it... in 4 weeks we did not miss anything, it was a home away from home. The location is perfect. Right by Chahue Beach with nice beach clubs, a European full service spa and lovely parks to take a stroll. Shopping is close by, 5 minutes, a super market and many evenings we strolled into town. There are 2 parts of town, Santa Cruz and La Crucecita, both offer plenty of restaurants, entertainment and shopping. We also enjoyed many day trips to secluded beaches, horseback riding, rafting, etc. and then we ran out of time. Next time we are planing to come back for 2 month, a perfect place for long term rental to get away from winter. Thank you to the owner, we loved Los Suenos!
